I want to give this a 5 star although maybe it’s more like a 4. As our puppy turned into a teenager, she found out that she can bark her head off when left alone. We already are coming home at lunch to walk her, but still she has this separation anxiety. Although we have a dog camera sending us precise notifications when she barks and we know that she only barks between 4.30 and 5.00 right before we get home, one day we found a note on our door saying she was barking all day everyday (gotta hate dog-hating, insensitive, lying neighbors, right?). This impolite note made us beyond anxious, because we don’t want to be evacuated just because our puppy is going through a phase. So I found this collar and despite knowing that Dobermans are smart and there was a chance for her to learn how to hack it, it worked miracles! We put this on only when we are leaving her alone, and she NEVER barks. She even behaves and doesn’t go crazy when we turn the door knob because if she gets too excited, the collar goes off without needing her to bark. The big but here is, if we forget putting this on, she goes on to bark again - so not barking isn’t a learned behavior on her part at this point. Also the collar is too sensitive for her to wear all day, because like I said, it also goes off when she moves abruptly. Still this is the life saver of my dog parent life right now. So glad I found this.

This product worked well and would be ideal for most dogs. My dog is a collie/Springer cross and is highly exciteble so the coller didn't stop him barking.

We previously bought the 2017 modelwith the prongs and it worked brilliantly! Stopped our spaniel barking with/without it on, then it got wet and we had to get it replaced.. we got the newer model (without prongs) and not only does it go off at random and make the dog think he is doing something wrong when he isnt. But it doesn't go off when he barks. Bring back the old model.

It doesn’t seem to make any difference to my dogs barking unfortunately, it’s easy to fit but just isn’t working, the dog whistle is excellent and he responds to that really well but it’s a lot of money to pay for a dog whistle, it may well work for other dogs but not for mine.

Great little device . Has helped reduce the barking greatly. Not sure if it is triggering as well as it did to start with but has done the job and now even the fact that he is wearing appears to be enough.

I was very sceptical but worth trying as my dog was driving me mad barking non stop at everyone and everything I have had the collar for about a week and yesterday went for a walk it was great loads of dogs out and school children going home, he usually barks at both, not a peep. For the first time since he was a puppy we had a nice quiet walk no barking or growling. I am puzzled is which way up the collar is supposed to go it doesn't say on the instructions have tried both about the same. I also find I have to take his own collar off to put this one on as I use a harness and there isn't room for all of them and he wears a coat or jumper and I find that difficult it could do with being a bit smaller my dog is a Miniature Dachshund. All in all the difficulties aside I am over the moon that the collar doing exactly what it is supposed to, brilliant.

Battery didn't last the first day. And it beeps constantly when she pants or the neighbours dog barks or the kids shout

I bought this collar as a last ditch attempt to finding a way of stopping our 10 year old Jack Russell from barking and I can honestly say this is one of the best things I have ever bought!! Our dog would start continually barking about 5 minutes after we left the house and we tried everything from shutting her out of certain rooms, giving her treats and toys as we left, leaving the radio on and even getting in a dog behaviorist but nothing worked! Our Jack Russell was not stressed or anxious just wanted to come out with us and as we couldn't discipline her when we returned we really did not know what to do. We bought this as a last ditch attempt and it started working virtually instantly. Now when we leave she will let out two or three low howls and then just lay down or stroll about the house without a noise. I definitely recommend this product for anyone who is struggling to find a way to stop a dog from barking.
