Works great
I upgraded my rear derailleur to SRAM and I did not want to use a grip shifter anymore. So here I am, a happy camper with a nice smooth 7 speed setup. I had to fine tune it a bit but afterwards everything worked as it should. At this price point, it is hard to beat. Plus, I did not want to spend too much on a budget frame.

Factory Replacement
Used this as a factory replacement on a bike that was stored outside for several years. The shifter unfortunately broke however this replacement worked like a charm to get the bike up and running

Good reliable shifting
I put this on my son's 24" Trek mountain bike, the old grip shifter siezed and no longer worked. I could not find a replacement grip shifter so I bought this one. He likes it much better saying the shifts are more precise and accurate.

Great for lower end builds
Purchased the X.3 to put on my son's 24" MTB. His bike came with gripshift but he wanted trigger shifting. I set up his bike as a 1x7 (I run 1x9) so we only needed the rear shifter. Sure it's not as light or shifts as smoothly as the higher end stuff, but it does shift fast and accurately enough for his needs. He's never once complained about its performance. A great lower end shifter.

I love Shimano but sram is right there too
Smoother than equally priced Shimano I will be switching one of my bikes to full sram drive
