At first it was confusing in how to set up to insert phone but it worked as it was designed.

Very solid. But more bulky than I thought it would be. I returned it but I bet if you are looking to get good underwater photos, this would do the trick.

I tested the case prior as instructed by putting paper towel inside & took it in the ocean. Not even a drop seeped in.Even so, I stll didn't want to take the chance of ruining my phone while away on vacay so I decided to use my once-loved & still functioning Samsung Galaxy S9 inside the case just to be on the safe side.And I had great success taking pix/video while snorkeling.When you see, feel & disassemble/reassemble the case for first time, your skepticism about its water-resistant capabilities will disappear.The build quality is evident & I have complete confidence in its ability to keep my phone safe & dry.Even so, if you have any concerns or trepidation, using an old non-active phone with a functioning camera is a viable option.Then just login to wifi on your old phone when you're ready to transfer pix to your current phone (via email/text/upload to cloud/post to social media).Easy peasy.Oh one more thing....the case comes with this cool, heavy duty wrist strap. It's woven like a paracord bracelet & it works in a similar fashion to a choke chain/non-slip dog lead.You put your hand through the opening and then the weight of the case pulls on one end of the strap, causing it to tighten around your wrist. If used/installed correctly, the strap won't fall off the case or your wrist. I swam around in deep ocean with the case just dangling on my wrist without any issues.1Normally, I'm super paranoid about losing my grip on whatever I bring in the ocean with me (lets just say Davey Jones' locker definitely has a mask or 2 of mine). But I was not worried at all about losing this. It feels really secure.The whole set up is top notch & worth every penny in my humble opinion.

They worked to keep everything waterproof but usability suck. I could put the phone on video but that was it and had to guess what I was filming as you could almost not read thought them underwater. I would return them if I could as I will not be need are Amazon drop off or shipping point until after the return window.

What I like:The Shellbox Case Diving Case, 2nd Gen for Phone/Samsung Galaxy Series thus far appears to perform as advertised. It's gotten too cold for me to visit the beach in my region, so all I've done so far, has been to perform a simple kitchen sink test. At the conclusion of test, no water made it into the case. The provided instructions were quite complete and concise, so figuring out how to get my Galaxy Phone properly installed into case was quite a bit easier than I'd initially anticipated.I ordered the case for metal detecting freshwater beaches (no diving, just shallow wading up to hip-level, and come Springtime, 2024, I'll have an opportunity to test the case for extended periods in a few feet of water. I'll do my best to provide a more thorough review at that time.What I don't like:So far, there is nothing I don't like about the product.My initial impression is that I would order this item again. As I previously mentioned, I plan to provide an appropriate update to this review during warmer weather when I'm able to fully field test the product.

Cute little product, I was nervous about taking it too deep underwater past 10 feet, but it was still sealed tight. Doesn’t work well in cold water, the screen fogs and wigs out can’t read your finger.

When first unboxing product, heavy duty feel with quality case creates feeling of secureness to bring on vacation. The case has 6 different clips all around the phone case that make it completely secure for use when swimming. The case itself is large and accommodates a majority of phone brands, the adjustable bottom and side clips hold the phone secure when inside the case for a steady and quality video while underwater. The product comes with instructions on how to use, pretty simple, also comes with phone cushion that can be put inside case as additional phone sturdiness for smaller phones while underwater. Directions include waterproof test for accurate guarantee of the product to make sure there are no malfunctions. The front of the case includes a air vent that has a removable screw, along with a large button on the side of the phone that assists with the camera button while phone is inside the case. The front camera window is wide, so there's no worry to miss anything while filming underwater. The case itself has a great look when fully assembled, it gives off a sleek, heavy duty, stylish feel when swimming and with much more phone protection then traditional cases, highly recommended to bring for vacations, and underwater videos.

I really wanted this to work-- I should've known there was NO WAY it would actually work universally between an Android and an Apple phone. The plastic tension bars holding the phone in place press hard against the power button. Each time I want to take a photo I have to pry the bar away and try to touch the power button (which defeats the point of this case) As soon as phone is placed into the holder screen is deactivated. It was a waste of money. I regret this purchase.
