Wow.. Just like OMG wow!! This is my first ever book by this author, went in blind not knowing what to expect, but omg where have I been all this time. What a first book to introduce me to such amazing writing, characters too fall in love & lust with & so many twists & turns it forces you to keep on turning the proverbial electronic page. Alex or Charli with an I (I actually like calling her charli over Alex) is the leading lady, and I was really surprised with quickly I loved her . She is strong, determined, intelligent & clearly beautiful yet she is also troubled, vulnerable, caring & scared. Her home life holds it secrets & she pushes against what society expects, what her family demands & what she know in her heart will simply kill her. She has fought hard, survived & paid her own destiny, meeting her BFF Chealsea along the way. To celebrate they book a week long vacation in the sun, to relax, have fun & breathe Enter Nox & omg what an entrance ,,. Wet from the pool.. Dripping, tanned, toned & damn edible .. I fell in love on the spot. He oozes alpha, strong, dominant, protective, sexy as sin & u just want more.. Then even more.. For a hot blooded male he knows what he wants & he wants Charli 1 week, no questions, no strings.. Can either of them keep the shadows at bay.. Live the life of their nicknames for a week & be free of all things, to find passion, lust, trust.. I seriously devoured this book in 1 day & promptly downloaded book two. If I could recommend a new author to anyone I would say download this book, soak in the passion & then obsess - you will not be disappointed .. Just panty dripping wet at the thought of those blue eyes burning into your soul

Another interesting read from this author , this book is based on the tyranny of the rich and powerful Alexandria Collins a recent graduate from Stanford looking forward to starting Columbia University to study law takes a well earned holiday and meets an enticing man in the form of Nox, she for a week adopts the name Charli and these two have a passionate five days together both feeling more but not allowing themselves that. Her life is disrupted by her overbearing family but she escapes to find herself in trouble and things take an unexpected turn. I look forward to the next installment in this dramatic tale.

Wow! I was so looking forward to reading this, I love Aleatha's writing and Betrayal didn't disappoint! This had me hooked and intrigued from the start and by the end left me wanting more! In this book we meet Nox and Charli. Charli is on holiday with her best friend after needing time out after studying and meets Nox at the same hotel. Charli is from a family who are highline status and expect the women to just marry and make babies. Charli doesn't want this, she wants much more for herself, studying law. When her and Nox meet there is chemistry and attraction straight away. They agree to spend the week together with no strings and knowing nothing about each other, not even last names! This is definitely going to be a series with many twists and turns in a way that only Aleatha can write! Her writing is flawless, it completely pulls you in to the story and into the characters' lives. It had me hooked from the start but as Aleatha also does, she finishes the book leaving the reader needing more! I can't wait till January to discover more about Nox and Charli! Loved this start to the series and highly recommend it! Thank you Aleatha for another brilliant series!

I went in thinking this was going to be a dark read like the other books I have read by this author. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't. With that being said though, I did enjoy this book. It was well written and the storyline was intriguing. This book does end on a cliffhanger but it is an interesting one. I am now left wanting more, so I look forward to reading the next installment in the series.

Ever read a book & thought "how the hell do I review this..."? Well this is one of those books!! I waited until the whole series was out because if this is anything like consequences it will finish on a WTF type moment & will need the next book to dive straight into. I wasn't wrong!! This book gives us a little bit of history of Alexandria (Alex / Charli) Collins; although in the typical Aleatha way more questions are raised than answered. In true style she is very clever at creating a trail of crumbs for us to follow. Starting at present day we know that Alex is at odds with her family. She doesn't have any intention of following the path that's been laid down for her since her great grandfather set about creating the Montague way. Deciding to focus on her desired career as a top class lawyer. Enter the charismatic Lennox (Nox) Demetri... we don't learn a great deal about Nox except he is an extremely rich business man with his finger in many pies... he is very intriguing, sophisticated, charming and you instantly want to know a whole lot more about him. OMG! What a cliffhanger this book had. Aleatha weaves a very clever tail of deceit, secrets and appearances. Nothing or no one will be as they appear. If you loved consequences you'll love this even more!!

Lov’it, it was a great read. Be aware aabout the cliffhanger at the end! Will purchase the second book!

*** SPOILER ALERT*** Ho acquistato questo libro per caso,incuriosita dai teasers che l'autrice postava sulla sua pagina e dal titolo-BETRAYAL(TRADIMENTO).Ho cominciato a leggerlo aspettandomi l'ennesima storia d'amore romantica infarcita di scene di sesso,e invece mi sono trovata davanti un romanzo da cui non riuscivo a staccarmi.I personaggi sono ben delineati anche se sono avvolti da un alone di mistero fino alla fine.La stessa protagonista ha tre nomi:Alexandria/Alex/Charli che corrispondono a diverse sfumature della sua personalità. Alexandria Collins è una ragazza di 23 anni,bellissima e appartenente a una delle più antiche e prestigiose famiglie di Savannah:I Montague.Suo padre è morto quando era molto piccola e sua madre si è risposata con Alton,uomo spietato e senza cuore,assetato di potere e con una spiccata tendenza al comando.Alexandria non ha un buon ricordo della sua infanzia trascorsa tra le asfissianti mura del Montague Manor.La recensione continua sul blog Harem's Book

I'm a mixture of mad for taking me so long to start this author (I have so much of her work to catch up) and exhilarated for getting to know her work, which is unbeliavably flawless. The plot was enticing and addictive, the writing was spetacular and the characters were all consuming, each in their own way. I'm well aware that I'm splurging on big words and compliments, yet it doesn't feel like enough. The whole story was magnetic, and the back and forth of time only added to the appeal. Whenever "I was" at Montague Manor, I caught myself being wary, cautious, edgy, even if there wasn't a conflict going on at the time, but I could feel there was something shady lurking behind the scenes and that was enough to keep me on my toes. But in Del Mar, I was all gooey, sucking up in the sexiness that was Nox and Charli. They were explosive together, their connection was enthralling and their chemistry was scorching hot. And it wasn't just physical. Their feelings grew deeper than that, in an understanding that didn't require explanations. They were emotionally and mentally connected, there was respect and trust between them, even if their time was so short. It was a dichotomy: time was of the essence because they needed more from one another, but it was also unecessary because it didn't take long for them to be important for each other. I'm totally hooked in this series and I'm starving for more.

This book is a first from this author but it won't be the last. This book is beautifully written. I enjoyed her style of writing very much, as well as the storyline and the characters. Both the plot and characters are well developed. I couldn't put the book down, it held a lot of intrigue and i wanted to find out what was going to transpire between the main characters. Their chemistry was hot and the male had a dominant streak in him. The sex scenes were too few but the ones that were there hot!! Now I need to get the next book of the series do i can live vicariously through these characters. Will definitely be reading more from this author!!

She is really and knows what she is writing.. after sidney sheldon, its her book which are soooooo good. I loved Infidelity Series. This is just not romance. Its is story we have and wish to have. its story we never thought existed behind every pain we received and for got the love that kept us strong and going. story of love, friendship, parents, sacrifice and mostly the betrayal that actually was endless love.
