I've never used blenders before and had no idea which brand was good or bad. So I just went for something with a reasonable price and it turns out to be working pretty well!The manual is not that clear, but I did find all the information needed. The lid has to be fastened properly, or else the blender wouldn’t turn on. On the side of the lid, there’re signs showing the direction to fasten the lid onto the jar. The touch screen gives me a feeling of modernism. It looks good in the kitchen.The one I enjoyed the most is the soy milk setting with beans and water. It is pretty handy as I like soy milk a lot. I noticed there are DIY options, with which one can set the time and speed. I definitely will try other settings in the near future!I’ll update my review on this blender if there’re any news. So far I’m happy with this purchase.

I first bought this JUSCHEF smoothie-maker back in August 2018. After heavy use, EVERY DAY, for 4 straight months, it started leaking at the bottom (small leak but a leak nonetheless). They immediately sent me another one and I threw away the broken one. The replacement has held up from December 2018 through today in April 2019 with everyday use yet still. For the money, you can't beat this excellent mixer. I use only the first preset for veggie smoothies and the "smoothie" preset (the 5th one) for fruit smoothies. It comes with a plastic stuffer, to stuff it down through the opening at the top while mixing, then closing the top when all the ingredients gets going. Add ice when needed throughout the mixing. I always go through 3 passes of each setting for each drink to make sure it's fully cut up (and it is). Add ice to your drink and you're golden cause 3 passes (for a total of 6 minutes on the veggie drink and 2 minutes 15 seconds on the fruit drink) makes the drink a little warm at first (moreso on the veggie one, the fruit one doesn't really need ice). Concoct your own drinks and get your vitamins and minerals this way and you'll be feeling more alert with a responsive body and smarter-working Brain. It makes you lighter on your feet, and will help with acid reflux (the reason I started making smoothies after an endoscopy back in August).This manufacturer or seller stands by their product! Bought this to upgrade my 1990's cheap sears blender... Sending it back after the 1st use! For starters, the "DIY" setting requires you to select a power and time; EVERY TIME! There is no Manual operation to just push a button and blend. I tried blending avocado's and pears to make baby food and it left big chunks. When my DIY program was done after 15 seconds, i have to go back into the menu and re-input everything just to run it for another 15 seconds. After 4 DIY programs on MAX power, it finally finished pears and avocado's...are you kidding?!? Did i mention every time you push a menu button, it BEEPS at you at a volume my dead grandpa could hear. beyond annoying. Furthermore, the glass jar does not separate for cleaning nor do the blades. They provide a long brush to clean it with, but it's not possible to disassemble and clean thoroughly. This unit is not user friendly and is completely over engineered. I had high hopes and it was a regretful purchase. Who makes a blender without a manual operation button?! seriously....

I was so excited to get this blender. After reading all the features it seemed like an amazing value for the price. It is a pretty awesome blender in some ways. There are some great setting which has made it so I don’t have to get a food processor. You can make and heat soup in this thing. It is so easy to clean and is very powerful. However, you have to read the user manual to figure this thing out. It annoys me that when you turn it on you can’t just push a button and it will blend when you are making simple things. If you want to scroll through the setting the beeping on this thing EVERYTIME YOU HIT A BUTTON has become the last thing I want to hear in the morning when I wake up. I have started having to use the blender in the evening when no one else is home to make my smoothies for the next day. Even if I leave it on the first setting (which is juice) and works fine for just blending whatever the blender will still beep so loudly to let me know it is starting. If it weren’t for the obnoxious noise I have to put up with when using this blender I would probably like it a lot more and could overlook having to set it everytime I want to use it.

So far I love it, a made a soup and I almost didn’t do anything, it’s to talk to go under your kitchen cabinets but also you probably don’t want that because if you’re using the function for a soup, the steam could damage your cabinets, so FSU I think works amazing!The only bad thing is that I really don’t know how to fully use it cause the instructions are t very clear, for example there’s a piece named stirring rod that I don’t know how to use it.
