DO NOT use these with a mallet. You'll eventually mallet your hand trying to keep it in place. I use these with my cheap arbor press and they work amazingly well. Especially I need to cut a circlular pattern into the edge of a product.

Is it OK was not that sharp. I end up return because it’s hard to work with my project.

The largest cutter served as a perfect size to cut out the middle of some cork, that I glued onto the backs of coasters. This worked out great!

The picture above is the box this die kit came in. It was taped shut and jammed together. The dies are spot welded spring steel. They still hold the memory of the original shape. Which tells me poor workmanship. They do work with practice. Just not well.

I tried to use these on thick leather and they didn't work very well. I couldn't get them to cut evenly, they didn't seem very sharp. I tried again on some thin leather and they worked fine. They are okay for the price, but if I needed to use these often, I'd invest more money to get a better set. These are appropriate for a few uses, but I found them somewhat frustrating to work with.

While I haven't tested all circles, the one I have used seems to cut fine and is sturdy. From this limited use, I cannot tell how long the cutters will hold their edge.The board provided for cutting does not hold up - the rings cut through it. This material needs to be tougher to withstand use by the product if it is going to be helpful.The enclosed case is not suitable for storage - it will not stay closed with only the rings inside, so there is no way the board will fit in the case with them. This kinda defeats the purpose of the case. All items should fit in it.

I bought these to cut sandpaper to fit a small sanding disc and other than one breaking at the weld ( why it’s 4 ⭐️) they work great and I would definitely buy them again.
