Great switch
Needed PoE for a wifi hotspot, and this delivers like a champ. Fast datarate, easy to set up, low power draw. I don't even notice it's there - No problems in the several months I've had it.

Works great with my security camera setup.
Powers up my Amcrest IP2M-851EW and works just as I expected. Way better value than most PoE injectors or other PoE switches. The only thing I could have wished for is that it was rack mountable.

Cannot Recommend
I purchased this 8-port + 1 uplink POE switch on March 9th 2018 and it is now April 19th 2019. I came home today to find that my network was out completely - very similar to another reviewer who had this issue. I figured out that one of the link lights is permanently blinking now, weather there is a cable inserted or not, and that when the POE switch's uplink is connected to switch B then it will lock up switch B completely. This is now a useless unit to me, just one year and one month after purchase - it is now too late to get any support as well! This unit was connected to a surge protector and UPS at all times, and was only running four IP cameras.

Ports were marked wrong
the ports were numbered wrong. Nelson the tech got everything fixed for me and he did such an awesome job getting all this stuff to work man. I hope I can get a hold of him next time I have an issue.

This is a very nice 8 port POE switch
This is a very nice 8 port POE switch. It's a simple product to install and use, so there's nothing I can add over what is in the product description. I very much liked the fact that the power source for the switch is separate from the switch itself. It makes the switch smaller, and if the power source were ever to need replacement, the switch would remain. (The previous switch I bought conked out in 30 days.)

Affordable and works fine
Works fine. Running 4 Poe 2mp camera and a ptz Poe camera. Also using as a switch for two other non-poe cameras. No issues so far.
