Works Nicely, but Have to reset each time you start your car to turn off engine light
I bought this because my car has it's engine light on for a very minor ailment. It does have the plug and play functionality with the easy to use app, but after turning the car off and back on again, you have to go through the process on the app to turn the engine light off. Would be great if it was a 1 time thing for the issue at hand, but other than that I love the product and would recommend it to anyone with a faulty engine light. Also the function to read the codes and then a quick google search can save a trip to the auto parts store to have them run it for you and a lot of times do the same thing!

It worked-eventually. Better manual would help.
To start with, you can't use the app with a newer version of Android. My last years' Samsung S22 got a notice from the Play Store that the Faslink X app was incompatible with my phone. A pity, because my phone is quicker. My Samsung TabA is older (Android version 11) so I gave it a try. It worked! And the Bluetooth connection worked! I was in business.I've attached two pictures of the manual. That's the only thing in the wrapper with the unit-lots of pics are in the Amazon ad for the unit itself, it looks the same.I connected the device to my 2019 Rav4 Hybrid. It clicked into place easily. My car has push button start. The manual said to turn my key to the on position, no engine. Pause while I work that out. Okay, so if I don't hold the brake pedal down, it turns on to "accessory" which is what I needed. The app activated! It started and I saw the pictured screen. I tried starting each test button. Some are self-explanatory, some are not. Some reacted as if they recognized that function on the vehicle, some did not.Was it working correctly? I have no idea. I decided to take it out and plug it back again. It wouldn't budge.Okay, continue working with it. Found that the drop-down menus contained some information but only on the link. The rest was a set of figures with no guide as to what each meant. I'm assuming that Dennis Wemm, trained mechanic in another universe, could understand them. Dennis Wemm, owner of a Rav4 and curious about how it worked would have had no clue what most meant. Oh, I got the instructions to turn off warning lights which would be useful. The button with MIL Status had a picture like an odometer on it-it led to two pages of coded prompts in red with check boxes that led nowhere. However others did with solid information. So call it 50-50 useful.During the whole process I had to reconnect the Bluetooth about five times. Finished everything and then still had the problem of getting it out of the port. So-watch two videos on YouTube and figured that you had to pinch in the two sides of the casing on the Faslink and give a fairly sharp tug to get it free.I'll be trying it on two other cars to see what's going on-both of them have had warning light related issues in the past. I'll edit this review if things work out more usefully.

Cheap tool that doesn’t work

A wealth of data
I got this exclusively due to the ability to use the OBD while the car is running. Quickly links to the app and from there you can get a ton of information.

Didn’t solve my check engine problem
The Bluetooth OBD2 scanner was easy to install, but after using it I was unfortunately not able to find out why my check engine light was on.
