A urinary leg bag is a part of my body since prostate surgery (14 years now). I like this urinary bag. It has one drawback: the drain valve consists of a fine-threaded screw instead of a flip-ball valve. When it is new, it works 100% well. The threads are clean and tighten well. If the patient does not drink enough water, the urine stone sediment will begin to cling to the threads and make it more difficult to open and close than the flip-ball type valve. The life of a Urinary Leg Bag for me is about five days. I've never had a bag leak but have had valve leaks. Urine bag shortcoming is primarily the fast build-up of odor and the collection of urine sediment on the moving parts of the drain valve. But, the fine-thread drain valve on this bag does not rule it out. It is a very good bag. IF THE USER DOES NOT TIGHTEN THE FINE THREADS, THE BAG WILL PRODUCE A VERY WET SOCK. But, they tend to be cheaper than flip-ball valve bags. I adjust my mind and realize I must put more pressure on the threads when closing the valve. It's a good buy. Try it! To be fair, the flip-ball valve quickly takes on mineral sediment and gets harder to open and close. BUT, you know when it is closed or not closed.

Best leg bags ever. They are huge in size with comfortable elastic bands for security . Extremely easy to empty a real joy to a sad situation having to have a bag. highly recommend.

These bags work well for my dads catheter.

I bought these collection bags because of the size. That's just fine! Where I'm having a problem is the drain valve requires two hands to operate and I've had some that dribble when off. If you fiddle with turning it off "just right" it will stop dribbling. Another thing that I should point out is that there is no real input tubing, only a connector on a short stub. I had to make an extension to prevent constant pulling on the cath.

I bought these the last time because Amazon no longer carries the old brand. Since I have had these they are nothing to talk about. They don't drain properly they leak, I think they are just cheap. The other day I changed bags which I do once a week. I have never had problems before, 1st day they leak from somewhere I thought it was the valve which I checked but it leaked all over my jeans so I changed. The 2nd day they leaked again. I checked the valve so that was not it. Then I found that the bag it self had leaked. This item costs more than the others but don't trust them
