I have long hair and was super excited about this extra long rod with an oval shape. First of all, I’m typically good w these things but it’s so huge and awkward that I burnt the heck out of my fingers. If it worked I’d have just gotten the burn proof gloves they recommend - you need them!! But the biggest problem is I thoroughly curled my whole head TWICE and within 40 minutes the wave fell out and my hair was straight again. My hair holds a curl decently, so it should’ve worked better. So bummed bc I love the idea and shape but it didn’t work for me to say the least. That being said, I’d still say give it a try if you’re super curious and your hair really holds a curl, but USE BURN GLOVES bc it is very very easy to singe your fingers!

Perfect for long hair and loose waves.

I have been watching this product for a very long time and have been so excited to finally be able to try it out.This curling rod is perfect for very— very— long hair. The reviews are not joking when they mention how long and large the barrel is, and it is a little cumbersome to try to use for the first time. But just as I wanted, my curls came out so loose and beautiful. I wanted a tool that could create a very natural and gentle look, and so this works for me even if it looks a little undone. By the end of the day my hair was mostly unraveled, so I’ll likely need to try different settings and products, but even unraveled it looks so gentle and nice. I’m very happy with my purchase so far. It’s expensive but I hope it will last.

Was excited about this because of the size & the fact that it doesn’t have a rest clamp BUT the highest heat setting I was comfortable with was 390 & it still wasn’t curling! I keep it on for 10 seconds each strand & it would just fall!! The wavytalk wand I like BUT it does have a rest clamp that gets stuck in my hair when I’m wrapping it, which is the only part I hate! I do use heat protection but I don’t want to chance it! The highest heat this wand goes is 450, which is insane! That’s extremely high!! Oh & where the heat button is positioned I kept changing the settings because it is where I position my hand!

I have very long, thick, somewhat course hair with extensions in. I thought this tool would be perfect for voluminous waves. It was easier to use for long hair because of the length but it left weird lines in my curls. I style my hair a lot and am pretty skilled at using hair tools. I tried and tried to make this one work, but kept getting the same result. Every section I curled..big, small or medium sized…it left a wierd straight line through the curl. I had to return it.

Ordered this product yesterday and it arrived today. I have always been a curling wand user so I am used to wrapping the hair and don’t even know where to begin with a curling iron clamp. I usually use a shorter/round barrel. I do not think the barrel is too long as some of the other reviews have said! I have extremely long thick hair and I love the wave that this oval wand gives!! It heats up very hot and gives the result I was looking for!The only negative thing I can think of is that the button is very easy to push while you’re holding it so it’ll change the heat setting. Not a huge deal but does kind of get annoying to keep changing it back.

I love this curler! I have tried for years to get my hair to curl the way I’ve wanted it to without any luck or success… until this curler! I love that the curls are loose and wavy. Finally a curler that works for my hair!! So stoked!
