both batteries are 12V 2000mAh units that fit my Black & Decker Fire Storm 12V Drill & light perfectly. They both had a charge of 12.99 Volts out of the box. I charged both for the standard 4-6 hrs on my small charger before using. Instructions say to charge and then discharge completely 2 times before putting them to standard duty. This will give more complete and longer service life by allowing the batteries to "see & accept" a full charge then on. They are made in China by "PowerAxis" and replace a PS130. They will NOT FIT a 12Volt Ryobi Model HP1202M. I paid standard price for these 2 pack batteries. We shall see how long the service life is in the coming months.

Since Black & Decker don't seem to make the PS130 battery pack ( good drill- BAD batters ) any more I find these to be a good substitute. They seem to provide good power to the drills. The only problem is the latch on the battery pack the holds them to the drill are way to tight. The only way I have found is to bang the battery HARD on the bottom while in the drill. I took one apart and used an old Black and Decker battery case an it fit and worked great.

The battery pack took a bit to fit in properly but seems to work and charge as it should.

I have had a FireStorm battery operated tool combo kit from Black & Decker for well over a decade. My charger and battery failed several years ago but B&D discontinued carrying the charger. Could not find it anywhere. I refused to discard the combo kit to a landfill. After years I finally found a company who not only sells the charger but the battery as well. Purchased the charger and replacement battery, charged the battery and works perfect. Got online and ordered a second backup battery. Thank you PowerAxis!!! Highly recommend the product.

Pros: 1) extra 0.5AH should make the drill run a bit longer per charge. 2) appears to be well made and solid. 3) charges fine with the original charger.Cons: 1) extra weight may be a disadvantage. 2) Fit is a bit tight, requiring additional force to install and remove battery.Overall a good product that extends the life of my B&D cordless power screwdriver/drill.

I got this a few weeks ago to replace the worn out original battery for a Black and Decker drill I got 20 years ago. I charged this new battery the day I got it, have used it a little bit here and there since then (mostly for dry wall anchors, installing toggle bolts through steel studs and hanging stuff to walls) and haven't needed to recharge it yet.

Works like a charm. Competitive price.
