No Mess with this Masterpiece
Best large mixer I have ever used! This mixer stays in place far better than the Kitchen Aid I was given, and it is lightweight compared to a Kitchen Aid. The bowl locks in place with a simple twist and stays! I use this all the time to make butter and let me tell you the double lid feature great for adding items quickly. When you make butter, the milk fat can be very messy if you're not paying attention. The lid system on this mixer keeps all the ingredients in the bowl! I would grab this in a house fire! Also, this vendor had the best deal at the time of my purchase, far more added extras and I love them all! All I use my Kitchen Aid for now is the external attachments.

The good and bad of this behemoth
I've had this for a few months now and I've used it several times. There are PRO'S and cons to replacing a kitchenaid "type" mixer with this.PROS: the size is unreal. It's huge. The motor is so powerful I highly doubt you'll ever need beyond speed 1 [but there are several speeds faster]. It has a rim shield AND a wide disc to remove/add during mixing to add components IE more water to a dough or addins like chips or nuts. This baby is SOLID.Cons: its..well huge. If you're making one batch of cookies I almost suggest you use the mixmaster to spin your dough. Also-DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE DISHWASHER!!!! You must wash it by hand. It's just plastic. I guarentee you, it will warp. I make a lot of sourdough. BUT I miss the kitchenaid dough hook, I just wish the old unit didnt die on me. Was it worth the price? yeah if you're a professional baker and make double/triple batches of everything.

LOVE
OH MY! LOVE LOVE my new mixer. I feel like I need to open a bakery since it is so easy to make bread and works so grat with the attachments for my cookies.

Buy it. It's a way of life.
I love this mixer! Buy it! I'm semi pro baker. I make biscotti mostly. I use the wisk for butter sugar, cookie paddles for dough. Sorry can't find video. I bragged on wedding cookie table on fb about my wicked list for this machine. Lemon Blueberry Biscotti is my thing.

Built to work
After burning up supposedly heavy duty kitchenaid mixers of recent vintage (30yo one still works), wife tried this. She loves it and it can handle 2x the pastry or artisan bread dough without trouble or bogging down.

The way it made.
Ease to clean, quality build. Work will for sourdough bread.

Love it more than my Kitchen Aid.
This is a great mixer! I love it. It mixes cookie dough quickly and easily, and without a lot of noise. It makes less noise than my blender. It has a large bowl, and is easy to add the ingredients to. I've already ordered 3 more attachments for it, and can't wait to try them out. I can now get rid of my bread maker, which I bought for the dough mixing function.

Defective Unusable Can't Return
I bought this mixer because Bosch is supposed to be quality but this is absolute junk. I was sick for over 4 weeks so I didn't use it until yesterday. Now I'm not eligible for a return. I would warn everyone do NOT buy this mixer. It is not your like the one your mother or grandmother had. It had a smell to the motor but I thought it might be factory grease and would fade. Nope. I mixed a batch of bread and it seemed weak but it was a smaller batch so I decided to test a larger batch to make sure. That's when there was black junk in my dough. It came from the shaft and blade area. I thought perhaps, even though I hand washed everything and dried it first, maybe some grease or something was missed. I hand washed and dried it again. I made a medium batch of cookies hoping the dough would not come in contact with that area and have to be thrown out like my bread dough. Ingredients aren't cheap. While I didn't see black in my dough and it didn't reach that part of the shaft, it again had black stuff all over the top of the shaft and blade area. All I can think is it's caused by friction of the shaft and blade rubbing and this is metal. Everything was washed and dried well twice. I decided this is completely unsafe and defective and started to put everything away. When I moved the mixer base I found black soot on my counter from the motor. What the heck? Because I was sick and didn't get to use it quickly, I am not eligible for a return and can't contact the seller about it. I tried. Went to their website and it says I would have to pay to ship it to them. This is a large heavy mixer. I'm out over 400 dollars and don't want to waste more. I don't want it replaced I want a refund. Who would want to prepare food in something that is made with metal that can end up in your food. Toxic. Shame on Nutrimill and Bosch. A VERY unhappy customer who is going to tell the whole internet if they don't make it right.
