a £29 case that can teach lian li a thing or two (and blows silverstone out of the water)
review for Kolink Satellite PLUS case (not the basic Satellite which amazon sometimes uses the picture of) i love this case. first impressions were positive - the finish on the panels is not lian li standard but for £29 more than acceptable. the problem is how to get into the case, you need to remove the thumbscrews (use a screwdriver as they are properly tight), unscrew the 6 (3 either side) domed black screws at the back (this should loosen up the backs of the panels), ease the back of the loosest panel outwards and slide back, and repeat for the other two. now you can see the beauty of the inside of the case (much nicer than my lian li A17), the comprehensive bag of bits... and the major design flaw. for some reason the panels are attached with 4 lugs on each panel & 4 corresponding plastic clips on the frame, the problem is that the clips are too stiff & the lugs are liable to come off (my top panel had already lost one of it's lugs when it arrived). if you rarely open up your pc then it shouldn't be a problem, if it's opened on a weekly basis you may want to look elsewhere (i ended up leaving the 4 rear clips for the side panels off). that said, i still love this case. i have it sat on top of the A17 at the moment and although it isn't proper black (the A17 is black, the kolink is more charcoal/matt dark grey) the kolink is better looking (it makes the A17 look so 2005). the round thing at the front is the power button (you can't tell for sure from the photo) and has a discrete plastic collar around it which lights up blue (power) and flashes red (hdd). the back and all internals are finished in a beautiful textured matt black, and i love this case. the bag of bits has ALL the screws/washers needed (plus spares), rubber covers for the front (side) sockets & a mobo speaker. all cables are long enough and i love this case. and it's £29 delivered - what's not to love?

Check your mobo size or repent at leisure.
I like the case but beware to check your micro atx board size, I didn't and my board had to be used in another case. Also you need to pull up to get the lid off, not slide ! Same for the side panels, pull out not slide. The instructions tell you this, but they're inside the case ! Otherwise its a nice case.

Cost efficient case for a HTPC
It’s a really small case, it fits into a box in the IKEA Kallax shelf and has enough room around it to let it cool properly. Opening it first was a bit tricky, as the top and the two sides need to be lifted away from the case by their handle instead of sliding them towards the rear. The case comes with a short, not too clear manual, but it’s easy enough to mount every component inside. I do recommend following the installation order of the components (motherboard, PSU, drives) mentioned in it, as there isn’t enough space inside to do it otherwise.

Great quality case
mATX board I bought for it did not fit - Beware the description size for the case is not a standard mATX. I was going to send it back but couldn't find another case that looked this good at this price. So I sent the board back and bought an ITX board for it. The case is excellent quality, Looks really sleek under the TV - I built it as a HTPC. Even the wife likes it ;-)

It's a case, it holds my PC components what more can I say. OK, I actually choose this case specifically to fit in an Ikea Kallax but still hold my full height GPU which it does great. I have even managed to squeeze in 2 x SSDs and 2 x HDDs Cooling could be a little bit better, I've only noticed it when gaming but not so much to have it caused any real problems yet.

Not for the faint of heart
Don't expect your gpu to match the expansion slots. Had to heavily modify the case. No mounts for 3.5 hdds

Be careful if you have a "MicroATX" motherboard.
I got an Asus M5A78L-M motherboard to go with this case, and it was too big. I originally thought it was the case that was at fault, but it was the motherboard that was built to the MicroBTX size, not MicroATX. Check your motherboard sizes before buying!

Perfect for my needs
Great little case, with just enough room to build a pretty capable little gaming machine for connecting to my TV in the living room. Recommended.

Ottimo per Nas
Ottimo, ben costruito.
