Well behaved filament with good color
First - folks have asked if there is metal (or even gold) mixed in the filament. No. (At $22 a roll, really?) It was very well sealed in a thick bag with all air removed. The bag is not reusable. They also included about 2-3 meter long samples of all of their "Silk" filaments and some nozzle cleaners. There is also an included card which requests you contact them directly if you have concerns. It is bright and shiny on the roll. It doesn't print quite as shiny as it is on the spool, but is is a nice gold color with a definite sheen. The sticker in the spool recommends it to be printed hot 200-220. I ran a temperature tower (with my cooling fan off) from 220 to 180 degrees. The color is consistent through the temperature range with the best bridging at around 200. I have printed a few objects now at 205C with no jams, excellent print quality, very good bed adhesion (Magigoo on glass at 65C) and consistent color. I have used CC3D brand silk filament and been happy with it. I was about to order the CC3D silk gold when I saw this brand I thought I would give it a try. I am pleased that I did. At $22 a spool this is a great deal. I have ordered several TTYT3D filaments now and am happy with them all. The latest that I have purchased is the Rose Gold. It is the same color you see in the pictures - perfectly well named. I just ordered a roll of the silk blue and I am certain I will be happy with it as well. I highly recommend this line of filament. As an aside - I am glad that they included the sample filaments. The "Bronze" is definitely a dark green. I think they are aiming for the color of verdigris on bronze and not the bronze itself. But the sample of silk blue is beautiful. I just ordered a spool.

PRETTIEST FILAMENT EVER
This stuff is absolutely gorgeous, and prints easily and fast. I'm gonna buy like 5 more.

Solid Filament Option!
I've been using TTYT3D filament for a while now, and it's always been solid. The packaging is great—no moisture issues or tangles. Prints come out clean every time, no clogs or weirdness. They have a huge selection of colors from bright neon's to shiny silk finishes and even glow-in-the-dark options. I recently tried their rainbow gradient filament, and the color transitions are super smooth and look amazing on finished prints. Overall I would say in my experience I've been very satisfied with their quality.

Very Nice Color, but...
The Good: Very nice color and sheen, as promised. Prints nicely - keep in mind this prints a little warmer than typical PLA. Had no issues with adhesion or flow - other than the temperature it prints like any PLA material. The Bad: A little undersized - I measured 1.62 to 1.68 over about a 3 meter length. Upped flow to 110% to compensate and produced very nice parts anyway. Finished products are a little more brittle than normal PLA, and I noticed that thin walls tend to delaminate easier, so layer adhesion seems sub-par. The Ugly: This is a pretty minor thing for me but depending on what you're making you might care more -- I'm not sure how to fix it or compensate for it (or if it's just the unavoidable nature of this shiny color), but along the perimeter where the nozzle starts/stops, there are cosmetic blemishes that don't appear to be able to be sanded away. If you're printing a spiral vase this shouldn't be an issue but depending on the finish you're expecting, be advised you may have to do some tinkering. Last little annoying note is that the product image shows primary colors on the finished piece but pastels on the spool - this is pastel, which is not what I wanted.

Beautiful colors!
So I originally bought this filament prior to TTYT3D updating and improving it and I think I got a bad (bad as in the colors didn't shift well, the print quality itself was fine) roll of that initially. It just went terrible on a 24+ hour print. I took the plunge and bought a new roll on June 2nd 2020 because I really wanted all the cool stuff people were getting. I figured I'd give it one more chance since I saw they made improvements. So when it arrived I could immediately tell the difference so I'm here updating my review to 5 stars because, WOW! I'm impressed and super thrilled. I re-did my dice tower and it came out AMAZING this time. I'm in love with this filament. The print quality, shine, and colors are fantastic. I couldn't be happier. Keep in mind, even though this is a fast change rainbow, it's more geared towards larger projects. If you're printing something small - you may not get a ton of color changes but you still may get some neat color depending where it is on the spool at the time.

Excellent Results
I purchased a spool of PLA Silk Gold and Fast Color Change filaments. The filaments came in resealable bags with dessicant. Both spools printed well. Adhesion was good. The results were simply beautiful. I printed several items as gifts and I was proud of the results. I printed with bed temp 60° and extruder temp 210°, using PVA glue stick on a modified Ender-3. I did not measure filament diameter to see if it was within tolerance, but the results speak for themselves. As far as the Fast Color Change filament, color blend was even and color change fit the model. Other color change filaments take way too long to change color so models don't show the full color change. One minor issue I noticed was that there is a lot of silicon lubricant on the filament. After about 12 hours printing, I observed that the print head was covered with lubricant and it was dripping to the glass bed. I printed a filament filter (several models are available on Thingiverse or you can buy one online), put it in front of the extruder and the problem was resolved. I just have to remember to wash the filter before it gets saturated. This sounds worse than it is. I suspect that the reason the prints turn out so well is because of the lubricant. It has no negative effect on adhesion unless perhaps, you try to print in a puddle of lube. The mess cleaned up easily with Isopropyl Alcohol. TTYT3D is now my go-to brand for decorative filament.

I couldn't be happier. I made these HUG's for a children's charity I work with and they turned out great. Pretty much the same settings as regular PLA, Adhesion was good, and I loved the colour transition.

I have tried several brands in the AMS only to find they either don't fit or constantly get jammed, this brand however works flawlessly as you can see in the photo using the AMS printing a dragon. Will defo be ordering tons more. The colours also seem to print fantastic with lots of colour variety 😀
