This leash is for toy dogs, cats, or other small animals, owned by novice people. For professionals it would be a nice show lead, or walking lead for the well trained dog. The leather is nice and supple, and folds well into your hand. The lead is very durable, but the little brass snap, didn't survive being dropped on concrete.

I have bought these over the years and I love them. Great value for the quality. Has an amazing leather smell. I love the design and how simple and thin it is. Easy to put in my pocket or bag. Extremely durable and lasts me a long time with dogs that know how to walk on the leash. This leash is not meant for a large dog that will pull or a puppy that can chew through it in seconds. Highly recommend them to my fellow dog trainers.

so far it's s good lightweight leash. I'm using it on a 40ish pound cattle dog with good leash manners and no pulling. I would only recommend this width if you've got a well behaved dog that doesn't pull or a VERY small dog under 10 pounds at best. the leather is soft and pliable, needs some conditioning or breaking in to get it less rough, but that will happen with time. the only downside I can see is that the stitch points at both the handle and the clip end aren't the best kind of stitching for minimizing breakage if there's a consistent level of pulling or tension. but it's a decent and affordable option for what I wanted.

Love the leash, it’s perfect for when I Bri g foster dogs in and leave the harness and leash attached while they acclimate. Holds up much better than the cloth leashes.

The leash broke after a week of use. Our dog is 23 lb, 4 month old Golden Retriever. She does try to pull on the leash sometimes, but it has been cold so there has not been frequent use of it. During a training session, another dog owner stepped on our dog’s leash as the dog was running and it broke the leather near the collar attachment piece. Another issue was how difficult it was to hold along the leash away from the handle. I would try to grab in two spots for better control and it was slippery.

Thin, strong, great leash

I think this product is great quality and is what I was looking for but I wish the stopper wasn't so hard to move. When trying to take this off my dog's neck, I have to squeeze it even tighter to get the necessary tension to then really use a lot of force to move the stopper and that can be scary. Also, I wish the handle had reinforced padding so that it felt better in my hand.

Have tried collars and a harness for our 5 pound puppy and she always fought with it. This leash went on easy when we had a treat to lure her into it and she was fine with it on. Nice and light made with real leather. Well worth the price and very happy with it and the results.

I really love this lead. Lovely and thin but string leather. Looks fab on my mini dachshund. Stoppers are strong and hold in place. I wanted a thin lead not too heavy and always leather. Will defo buy again if I need to

This was great for the first 9 months, then the leather broke and we had to tie a knot to re-connect the 2 pieces to still use it. The dog never chewed it. It didn't get heavy use either.
