A good battery to replace the old one.

We had issues with the original battery to the unit for a few months. Inagen felt it was the unit itself and replaced the unit at no cost but not the battery. Problems continued until we ordered this battery and everything is running perfect. Problems we had the unit would turn off for no reason, sometimes it would not get fully charged and to often warning light ( error) would come on. Remember folks the life of your battery depends on your setting for litters of oxygen being used. My wife setting is 2 and she gets around 3.5 hrs of use, we carry the small battery and both AC and DC chargers for long trips. A 400 watt inverter also can come in handy. It was sad to get a note in the package that some people buy this battery to use in a trip like vacation and then return it so don’t be a SCUM. We recommend this battery, thank you.

Allows a small portable oxygen tank to be carried when on the go!

This battery quit after six months of light use. I’m giving em 5 stars for their customer service. It is under warranty for a year and they shipped a new one in 2 days. I hope it lasts longer. There is tremendous markup for such a small battery because it’s in a medical device.

Wish it was lighter weight. Gets heavy fast.

So happy I found this Inogen battery on Amazon. It is an original. Some omments mentioned that Inogen batteries do not keep their charges as long as they claim. No matter on what setting and condition, mine always need to be recharged before time advertised. True for this one and the one that came with the unit. Inogen needs to correct this. Otherwise I'm very satisfied.

This battery was purchased for an 81 year-old for her portable machine. She used it twice. Tried to get it to charge only last 15 to 20 minutes for a 4hr battery. Since she only uses it periodically, it went past the 30 day but the battery was junk out of the box. Since 81 year olds don’t move as fast as we do, she missed the “return window” This company will not back up their product, which is a shame. Do not buy from them. It’s a shame how they treat people! Do not buy!! It’s also a shame that Amazon is also no help and will not help in the situation. Out $300 and machine won’t run without a battery.

Ordered this not knowing for sure if it was a replacement battery or an actual OE replacement. When I received it it was in an Amazon box and inside was a sealed Inogen box packaged just like replacement items we’ve received from Inogen in the past. If you need a battery for your G2 unit I recommend ordering.
