Webber Never Disappoints
I can’t believe I didn’t read this when it first released, but I am so glad I have rectified that situation. Tammara Webber is such an incredible writer and her books always strike such a chord and deliver.Brave is a bit different from the previous books in this series. To me it felt much more like Erin’s story rather than Erin and Isaac’s story. Erin really comes into her own over the course of this novel and the story was very much about her growth and how she comes to terms with herself and her life and learns what she wants. I absolutely loved Erin. She was fierce and determined and hardworking. She’s taken a bit of a sidestep in the path she thought she would follow, but she doesn’t let that stop her and she still puts her all into everything she does. I truly admired that about her. I also loved that she knew herself and she knew what she wanted and wouldn’t settle. She may be a bit off track in some ways, but she doesn’t let it stop her and she keeps going until she gets back on track. And even though I thought this was Erin’s show, that didn’t mean I didn’t love Isaac. Isaac is a quiet character, but when he speaks you listen. He is incredibly smart and hardworking and you have to admire that. He is put in a very difficult situation of being the boss of the owner’s daughter and he handles it well. He’s just a good guy and I really loved him.The romance between Isaac and Eric is such a slow burn and I loved it. They grew together slowly and over time and I loved watching them slowly open up to one another. When they first meet one another they do not get off to the best start, but it’s clear they have more in common than they first thought. Slow burns when executed right can be the best and this was executed perfectly. I also loved the social commentary that was woven into the story. She handles topics that are very relevant today and shows that you should stand up for what you believe in and not let the things that matter slide.Brave was another fantastic read from Tammara Webber. All of the books in this series are some of my very favorite reads. These are the kind of New Adult reads we need and is what I think the genre was always intended to be: finding yourself and growing from a teenager into an adult and finding that adult you want to be along the way and you know if there’s some romance to be found there too, that doesn’t hurt. This is the kind of book that made me fall in love with the New Adult genre to begin with and it was so great to find another book like that once again. All in all, Brave was a wonderful read and I loved every single second of it.

A great slow burn NA.
I had been waiting on this book so long, I forgot why. I even forgot who Erin was. I had to ask a friend! That makes me sad because Brave and Tammara Weber's entire Contour of the Hearts series is so good! I love her writing and the world she has created.Brave was a slow burn romance. The characters, Erin and Isaac, started off as co-workers. Isaac was Erin's boss, and he wasn't her biggest fan. This spurred Erin into action. Their feelings built slowly throughout the story. I loved all of their moments together. Those lead to some very big ah-ha moments for Erin. The story was in her point of view, so those moments were extremely important. While I loved Erin and Isaac together, the romance didn't feel like the biggest part of the story. Erin coming into her own and learning about herself and her family took up a lot of the story. I really liked that story line. Isaac was woven into it, and how everything played out was very cool. The social and political aspects of Brave were important and relevant to life today. The only thing I wanted more of from Brave was time with Erin and Isaac together. I didn't get enough of them as a couple figuring out their lives together. I wanted more than just their attraction and the blooming of their love. I wanted to be deep within their bond.It may have taken years to finally get Erin's story, but it was well worth the wait. Tammara Weber gave her a story that showed Erin's strengths and her heart. I loved reading it.

I love Easy (Contours of the Heart
I love Easy (Contours of the Heart, #1), and have read it multiple times. Brave follows along years after, and I liked the glimpse into some familiar old characters. In the beginning, I wasn't sure what I thought. Erin going home to work for her dad, and the set up of not getting along with her boss. But the tension there was fun ... I loved seeing them try to resist each other, and the times they spent out of the office, seeing another side. All the family dynamics were interesting, too. This book is heavy hitting tackling racism and sexism. These are big important topics, very timely, and can be so hard to do well in fiction. Often it feels forced. I didn't find it so with Brave. Erin sits back, staying quiet, and realizes that makes her part of the problem. I think so many of us have been there! Her struggle is relatable. In the end, I liked it, and wished it had been longer! It flew by. Ultimately this is a sweet, sometimes sad, encouraging book. With characters you want to root for. (Also, Isaac, being kind, smart, strong, and patient, is the ultimate book boyfriend, thank you very much).

Who knew math could be so sexy?!
I like anything Tammara Webber writes. This is one of my top novels of 2017. I really don't want to give too much away other than the character and plot development was fantastic. The fact that the author addresses current issues that half our country is starting to recognize while the other half is in denial added authenticity and depth to the story. This isn't just a wonderful love story, which it is by the way, but also a gut check if you are aware and addressing prejudice when you witness or experience it and being a true advocate as well. Erin and Isaac were just so darn likable and I couldn't help rooting for them both. They are both a breath of fresh air. I read a lot of romance books so I am so over the cocky man whore cave maning over the insecure virgin. However, the agnst reaches off the charts status when these two characters interact with each other. It was a slow burn and wholly satisfying with great precision once it all happened. Erin's uncensored struggles of trying not to be attracted to Isaac was so relatable and hilarious that I literally laughed out loud and also made me wish I was friends with her. Isaac is so stinking swoon worthy but in a more controlled, humble, poised, intelligible, nerdy, subtley humorous way! I really enjoyed reading this book. I will be recommending it to all my reading buddies.

they know that I am kinda in love with Tammara Webber and her CONTOURS OF THE HEART ...
Now, if anyone knows me, they know that I am kinda in love with Tammara Webber and her CONTOURS OF THE HEART series. They will also know that I’m Jaqueline/Lucas trash and no matter how awesome the other stories are, no-one will ever top those two. I basically live for all the mentions of them there are in SWEET and BRAVE.Anyway, that didn’t stop me from enjoying BRAVE so much that it took me only two sittings and I stayed up until 2am to finish it. I loved Erin in EASY. She’s so fierce and loyal and sweet, and when I heard about this novel, I couldn’t wait.It was breathtaking. It’s told from Erin’s POV as she deals with finding her way in life again after a certain tragedy tore it apart. I loved the messages in this book, and especially with how the black LI was handled. Issues were raised, the MC learned to check her privilege and it was done in a way that didn’t demonise POC/black people. The romance was adorable. It’s kinda like enemies to lovers but not really, cos they’re not really enemies? But it’s at least dislike to friends to lovers. I adored it. It was such a slow burn romance. I did feel that the ending was a little rush - that after the big Revelation, everything happened a little too fast between the two characters? But that didnt stop me from nearly crying when it ended and when I read that epilogue.Honestly, I recommend this series to anyone. One of my favourite books of all damn time.

Like all of Tammara’s books takes a while to get ...
Like all of Tammara’s books takes a while to get into. All the characters are layer out and sometimes it can be a trifle confusing, but hang in there, it is well worth it. A dynamic, well written, explicit novel. Subject material, very well researched. Awful to think in these so called enlightened times, families with wealth and the legal system can be racist. In all walks of life. This story is full of betrayal, revenge, a dish best eaten cold, romance and bigotry. Issac an incredibly intelligent, architect, fells the need for revenge against Erin’s family. With justification. However he discovers that parts of the family and friends are rancid, and although he falls in love with his quarry. His initial desire has already been started. The results are the same, but two people that deserve happiness achieve their outcome and all is well. Love Pete, great name for a dog as well as Jack who seems one spoilt mutt too. A great read. No spoiler alerts. Fantastic Author

Just perfect.
I only read Tammara Webber for the first time last year and she has quickly become one of my favourite authors. I’ve been excited for Erin’s book every since and it didn’t disappoint.Brave was just about as perfect as you can get. I couldn’t have enjoyed this any more. I missed the male POV at first buy I soon leant what was in Isaacs head because he was so candid with Erin.It was awesome to check in with Jaqueline and Landon from Easy as they were the characters I met on my first experience with Tammara’s writing.

Not a favourite
The story was slow the love interests even slower. I'm sorry but I like my couples to Start near the beginning and continue through the story. Not right at the end of the book.

Awaiting for nothing.
Compare to others book in this series not so much emotions for me. Love line a little bit dry. At the beginning very slow and in the end finished just in five pages.
