I was hard pressed to find a surface to put these beautiful letters! I knew what I was going to ...
I always wondered why someone would want to clutter up their fridge with magnets, but after having children of my own and having non-magnet friendly appliances, I was hard pressed to find a surface to put these beautiful letters!I knew what I was going to be getting when I purchased this large set. I had already bought the smaller set and realized how many words we couldn't make and decided we had to get more.Close to $40 seems like a lot of money to spend on letters but once you see your children spelling words (and you'll want to join in too) it will put your mind at ease and allow you to relish the opportunity that these letters present for children.I do now wish we had a fridge full of these magnets but I went online for inspiration and hung a large piece of sheet metal (you can buy at the home improvement stores for cheap) and will frame it in.We do our spelling lesson there in the morning. I'm already seeing an improvement. The blue consonants and red vowels are just what some children need to tie it all together. I bought these to replace the flimsy letter tiles that come with the All About Spelling curriculum. Their letter tiles are color-coded too (blue/red)!I couldn't be happier and all of our children, from the oldest to our 3 year old, appreciate the ability to learn and play with these!I love these letters.

2nd Purchase
This is the second time I've purchased it for my classroom. On a teacher's salary, this is quite expensive, but the first one that I bought has really come in handy. Saves me a lot of time when I have to do word work activities with my students. The box is sturdy enough but it could be better for the price.

These are the best I’ve ever had
I am an interventionist and use magnetic letters daily. These are the best I’ve ever had. Sturdy, easy for kids to use because they are substantial, and nice magnetic hold. Wish the bowels weren’t a different color. I personally think it distorts the visual perception of the word, making it harder to see word parts.

Best magnet letters we have used!
As a former teacher and a homeschool mom, these are the best magnet letters that I have ever used. They are large and well made, and come in a very sturdy cardboard box with labeled dividers. We use them every day for our spelling/word building activities. I like that the vowels are in red, because it helps my children to understand the importance of vowels and the vowel/syllable patterns. The only caution I would have is that these magnets are designed for desk-top magnet boards. When you put them on a vertical surface, like a refrigerator, some of the heavier ones slide down. If you are looking for magnet letters for educational use, these are excellent!

GREAT PRODUCT!!
Highly recommend!! VERY WELL MADE... both the letters & the storage box. I thought it seemed a little pricey, but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Seller shipped it quickly & it arrived sooner than expected. It's a great product & it was exactly what I was looking for... I wanted A LOT of duplicate LOWERCASE letters (many sets come with only 1 or 2 of each letter & are often uppercase). I also needed a way to store & organize all the letters. This product provided all of that. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

I couldn't teach without these.
I love these letters. I use them and my students use them. I tutor preschool and pre-k students in reading. Sometimes, their motor skills aren't developed yet for writing, so by using the magnetic letters students can still practice spelling words and making sentences even though they can't write yet. I also love the color coding difference for the vowels and the consonants. The children learn easier what the vowels are because they are a different color.

I'm happy with the quality but could find no where in ...
Trying to use these letters for small group instruction. The kit only includes 5 of the letter magnets for some of the letters. I work with small groups all day and all of my groups have 6 students. I'm happy with the quality but could find no where in the description that there are only 5 magnets for some of the letters.

They stay in place but could still improve upon it.
Started using it right away for home use only. Earlier reviews stated some of the letters slide down when placed vertically. They do stay now but they could still improve their staying power. I thought they were a bit pricey but it was all I could find for what we would use them for. I would recommend them to others.
