Good Solid Pull Up Bar for the price. It's easy to assemble especially as it comes with the tools required. I actually assembled this partially under my treadmill so that I could save space. (which is one reason I purchased this one with this style of base was wide enough and low profile enough to work) It isn't as solid as a friends Rogue MIL pull up bar, but that one was around $499, and I wasn't willing to pay that much. The ability to adjust it is pretty nice as I was able to change the height to match what was comfortable for me, and my ceiling. Its much better than those door top models or the combo dip/pullup bars that are made of super cheap metal that flexes alot (especially on dips). I almost rated it 4 stars as the grip wrapping it comes with is mostly useless, you shouldn't even bother using it as it just spins in your grip unless you add a bunch of adhesive. That along with the fairly slippery grip on the bar itself doesn't help. I purchased some thundertape for $10 and wrapped the whole bar which I'd really recommend if you get this one as it made pull ups much easier (especially for those who have grip issues).

I just finished assembly, about an hour, using a 17 mm ratchet really helped. I also wrapped the bar with thunder tape which i bought with pullup bar because and I agree, another reviewer said the supplied tape moves/rotates as you adjust your grip. I might put a second layer of tape. I wrapped it half-lap. I find it sturdy enough. I can move it around just fine by standing in the middle and lifting the sides. So far very happy with my new addition to my home gym!!

For the price it's okay. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. Be carfeul with screwing it too tight be cause id you do the metal will bend. I screwed mine to tight and without realizing it I bent the metal pretty bad at bottom. In other words the metal is pretty cheap. It has a wobble to it aswell even if you screw everything tight. Im basing this all off of a comparison to a wooden pull up bar I made from scratch awhile ago and the wooden one was much better. But for the price and what it is it's okay.

I was very happy with my purchase of the Bongkim dip bars, such that I felt good about buying this pull-up bar, too. I am also very pleased with the pull-up bars. They're sturdy, easy to assemble, the bars have a nice feeling coating, and the adjustment range is exactly what I am looking for. Overall, I use this pull-up bar almost daily. I never change the height; what I really love is that there are multiple heights to pick from so I easily found the right height for my basement. Buying large exercise equipment online is kind of nerve wracking, but I am so happy with my Bongkim purchases that I went out of my way to write reviews to help others lessen the anxiety about making the purchase since this contributes to improving people's health. I guess I was fortunate in that none of the pieces were missing or items were damaged. I hope this helps.

From the very first step forward, the pull up bar wobbled like crazy due to having the head of the screw sticking out. For a product this expensive, it’s crazy to think how much thoughtlessness went into the product. Got the stability and design of a dysfunctional asymmetrical animal.

Great quality, instructions were easy to follow and came with hardware to build it. Recommend buying after market grip tape for the lift bar itself though.

Great pull-up bar. Sturdy and works well for larger people. I'm about 6'4, 220 lbs, and this is the tallest standalone bar setup I've found. I can still touch the ground on the highest setting but it is pretty good and better than what I have used in the past. It has also been used by someone weighing around 260 lbs with no issues at all. Setup was easy and no issues with shipping or packaging of the product

This was $200 cheaper than the other products, its string and sturdy, and is perfect for chin up’s and pull ups.

Very sturdy and relatively easy assembly very doable with just 1 person. Took me about 1 hour to assemble on my own. The most tiring part is actually tightening the screws and bolts. It’s very stable for me. Only thing is it’s quite big. If your room is small then I don’t recommend this one. But if you have a large space and want a stable pull up stand, this one is it.
