He's one of my greatest references as a photographer and this book is pure vitamin for my eyes and mind.Print quality and paper are very good the editing on the book is very good and harmonic.

I love the work of Harry Gruyaert, he's a colourist like many others who define this style, William Eggleston, Ernst Haas and Alex Webb. The compositions are complex some having very little human element to the work, but they work. A good book for a collector.

These photos are stunning with color you could scoop up with your hand. It’s work you should own. I have the 2023 reprint edition. And something is off about the printing. There’s what looks like artifacting in some of the images. Is it the sources? Lower resolution? Or is it something about the range of colors in the inks used? Perhaps printed in a limited range? This is a collection of Gruyeart’s work, some of which is repeated in other books. It might be worth comparing editions first.Still I am glad to have it.

Sono stato molto soddisfatto soprattutto perché il libro è di grandi dimensioni: c'è molto spazio per una comoda visione delle fotografie.La carta è di buona grammatura.Se vi piace il genere, è un libro che terrete per sempre.

This book gives a real good overview about the work of Harry Gruyaert, covering images from 40 years and from all over the world. He had the sense for colour and unusual compositions like very few others and his timeless and poetic images are rediscovered from younger generations of photographers today. This is the kind of photo book I'd like to have also from other photographers - a good curated selection of images, a format and simple layout that gives the images room to shine and with high print and reproduction quality, and all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.
