Putting it in basement and using as home air purifier. Will it work for that? Turning it down somewhat to lessen noise.

Yes, will work for that .... but very noisy .... it is one of the fastest/strongest compact air filter on the market.

What filter or filters come with? thanks

1 hepa and1 secondary. I had a little trouble finding new filters. The 500 filters do not fit from what I’m told. Found a local cleaning wholesaler in my area for purchasing replacement filters
