I really like this book. It covers many topics in the electrical engineering field, and will give you enough knowledge to be dangerous. If you are an engineer that is out of college and you're looking for a great desk reference, this is it. It can be a little general on some topics so don't expect to become an expert on anything by reading this book. I wish it had more in-depth on analysis on transformers and machinery.

This is an electrical power book
The content is focused on electrical power distribution. It doesn't cover much else. As a hobbyist, this book doesn't have a lot of value for me. If you're in the field, this may be a great resource.

A MUST-HAVE BOOK
This book is MUST- HAVE for everyone in the electrical engineering profession. The entire industry is going through a point of inflexion, and this book helps us keep our feet on the ground, while creatively exploring the space above and beyond the ordinary. The chapters are quite technical, also introduces the concepts from a very approachable level, in relatively simple easy to understand language. In particular, the chapter on Smart Grid and Microgrid is really useful.

Rien à redire, coûteux mais tout à fait rentable vu la quantité d'informations et la qualité de la rédaction. Juste top. Le livre en lui même est également de bonne qualité, la couverture et l'impression sont bons, le papier est agréable. Par contre c'est une belle bête, il pèse son poids.
