PUMASpeeder Illuminescent V Light Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

I got these for my 6-year old daughter in the first gradePros:My favorite feature is that the puma on the side lights up when you walk. Also, when it lights up, you can see that there is a skeleton (not gory) of the puma back lighted. I didn't expect it but it is definitely cool!My daughter absolutely loves the purple and pink color of the shoesThe bottom/heel of the shoe is different then a traditional shoe. Not an expert at all, but my daughter tells me she likes walking in them and feels like she can go faster in themThe materials of the shoe appear very well made. My daughter is not nice to shoes at all. She's had these for over a month and they still look pretty new.My daughter usually squishes down the back of the shoe, but has not been able to do it so far.ConsThe lights in the shoe stopped working a month after purchasing. I don't know how long they were supposed to last. My daughter told me she's bummed they stopped working. Since they were an unexpected surprise, and not why I bought them, I couldn't see lowering my rating more then one star

My five-year old son has been wanting a pair of "light up" shoes for a very long time and I thought these would make a nice treat for starting kindergarten. I was SO RIGHT! These shoes earned me a coolest mommy award for sure. Based on other reviews, I ordered up a size and the fit was just about perfect (with room to grow). Pumas have a "kinder fit" system showing where the kiddos toes should hit - leaving about an inch of space in front of the toes. At first I thought the shoes seemed a little too big, but my son assured me they were great, and I like that he will be able to wear them for a while. We just received the shoes last night, so I can't speak to how long the lights will last...but they are super bright and work perfectly. The solid color pumas not only light up but show the skeleton of the puma - totally like nothing I have ever seen before. What a great effect! I promise that you will not be disappointed with this purchase. The shoes seem to be made a nice quality materials too. (For the record, we ordered the orange/white ones in a size 13.5 - my son currently measures between a 12.5 and 13.)

My daughter wanted the blue frozen shoes since they lit up and were blue but never even has seen the movie. They did not even come in her size so I found these and thought-blue and light up...meets criteria! I am happy I read reviews because if I had ordered her real size they never would have fit. Fit small is an understatement. These are a size and a half larger than her size and they fit just right. I was trying to go up a half size over the suggested order a size up. THis 13.5 fits like a 12. I find this really frustrating as a parent and comsumer. Why have any size listed...it is really horribly measured. Shoe sizes are actually standardized measurements by country so get it right PUMA! I loved the shoes, loved the light up feature, but in the end may not buy again since the fit is so small I would again have to guess the size she might fit into. frustrating....

My kid loves them, though they are very small compared to Adidas, Old Navy, Toms. For reference using Old Navy footchart he should be almost a 10. I bought him Old Navy 10 and they get out of his feet. This 10.5 I have to be careful putting them in and I can feel his toes on the end of it. I took out the insole which is a kid fit insole and is on the edge. I think the problem is they are too small and too narrow. So that's why there's a huge difference on sizing, if I will have to reorder I think I will go all the way to a 11. I put 4 stars because even they are comfortable, flexible and grippy (he doesn't slips on them) duty to the outer sole texture, the light on one of them stopped working after just 2 weeks. It works whenever it wants to. And so far there's no way to fix it.

Purchased these shoes for my son. He usually wears a size 5 in Stride Rite and Osh Kosh brand shoes, so I bought a size 6 (based on previous reviews). It was a good idea. They have a little room to grow, but he is still able to wear them comfortably. The shoes have an insert that you can remove and place on the bottom of your child's foot to know that the size is fitting correctly. The shoes are very classic looking for those of you that don't like a "cartoony" toddler shoe. The Puma on the sides light up a skeletal pattern that is very sharp and not overly done.The shoe is well made, but a little stiffer than other brands of shoes that have a thinner material that lets a toddlers foot move more. I've twisted it around a bit to loosen it up, but it looks like it will get softer and more pliable with time.

I originally saw my sister had Puma sneaker for her toddler girl. she loved them so I wanted to buy for my toddler son. I found these cute light up Pumas here in Amazon so I didn't hesitate buying two pairs. One I bought so that he could wear right away and the other a size larger. So far we have used both sizes and they are easy to put on and look amazingly well made. I didn't have a problem washing them and the batteries haven't gone bad during washing. There is no place to replace the battery so if you plan on keeping them as a "hand me down" then probably the batteries will not last that long. So far the batteries have lasted for my toddlers growth. what I like about this design is that its more slim side. I don't like the chunky sneakers out there, and all the licensed figures on the sneakers. These ones feel more like the slimmer European designs. I am coming back to amazon to purchase my pair because they have more color choices. I checked at my local Nordstrom and they carry only one color. That shows you how happy I am with these sneakers.
