Melissa & Doug Wooden Lift-Top Desk & Chair - Honey

This desk is awesome! We pushover this for my son to use for crafts and stuff. The ability to but his supplies in the desk is great, and the quality is what you would expect from Melissa and Doug!

What a cute little with desk for kids! My son is 5 and in kindergarten and usually does his homework on a TV tray which is so awkward. He was SO excited when he saw this desk! He grabbed his homework and started doing it right away. Love that you can open it for storage. Easy to put together, only four steps.

Really sturdy. Easy assembly

My lil dude is a bit small for his age and it was challenging to find a desk/chair that optimized his writing (feet just touching ground, etc) and let him store his favorite stuff. This one ticked all the boxes.

I purchased two of these for my children. They are beautiful, sturdy and very easy to put together. For reference, the height of my children ranges from 45 to 48 inches and the desk is perfect for them.

I want to start by saying we LOVE these desks! We bought three for our kids! The quality for the price was honestly surprising to us! We didn't expect them to feel this sturdy! Our kids are rough and these will definitely last until outgrown.What i wanted to come share was how difficult it was to put the chairs together. I've installed far too many furniture pieces in my lifetime so I feel I am qualified to say it's a little difficult. The holes in the chair are a little bit too small for the screw piece to go into. You have to slam it down and then pray you got the hole lined up because there is no getting it out once you put it in. We thought it was just the first chair, but it was not, all of them were made that way. We ended up drilling out the holes to make them a bit bigger to fit.Other than that the table took less than 5 minutes to put together. I love that the desk is already pieced together, I thought I was going to have to do that so it was a nice surprise!We love Melissa and Doug and will continue to buy their products just wanted to hopefully help someone in the future so they don't crack part of their chair like we did!

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas 2023. She loves to play teacher! She uses this desk everyday! It is sturdy, well made, convenient, easy to assemble, and real wood! I figure she will outgrow it and it will still be in good condition! If you are needing a desk for you little one, I highly recommend this one!

If you are not a handy person, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!! It’s horrible to put together. Nothing fits right and you can’t even make a mistake because you won’t be able to take it apart and try again. I’m just a girl who should’ve read the reviews before buying this item. That was my first mistake.It took me hourssss to “try” to put this together and still couldn’t get it right. It’s not stable and the chair isn’t balanced right. Also this says it’s good up to the age of 8. My son is turning 5 in a few days and this won’t even last till he’s 8. The table and the chair should’ve been taller. Also, while I was trying to screw this stupid thing, the wood broke on me!! I can’t even get my money back because I can’t take this thing apart to be able to send it out. This has been the worst item I’ve ever bought. I reached out to customer service and they were no help. Now I’m out of 70+ bucks and a garbage of a “Desk”. Will be throwing this out because it has absolutely no use here. My son can’t use it.I repeat, DO NOT BUY!!! Save your money. Buy from another brand. Save yourself the trouble and do not waste your time!!!! Soooo frustrating!!!!!
