Dark Ink Publishing Eternal Reign

I really liked the premise of the book but felt the writing was a bit immature at times. This book is the first in a series, so it does a lot of set up of the characters and their personalities along with world building. There are hints of romance, possibly to come in later books. The two main characters switch back and forth as the point of view each chapter, which took some getting used too. I will read still get book 2 to see if it gets any better because I am interested to see where the story goes.

I can’t decide if I missed out by not reading this series originally or if I’m getting the best versions of the story by reading the updated and revamped versions.What I do know is that I’m in a whole new Twisted Sisters world and I’m sucked in.Vampires, Slayers, and some stubborn twins searching for freedom.This book has definitely set up for an an bloody good second book.If you didn’t enjoy my vampire puns throughout this review here’s the bit you need - A Twisted Sisters world that you’ll love,

I really enjoyed this book, it has kind of a slow start but it’s all the world building, if you didn’t have that then you wouldn’t understand the twins views and there reactions to it. And as you go through it builds and builds and has a delicious ending. This book isn’t spicing but it has the starts of a slow burn. I can already imagine (hope) where the slow burn is heading. Bring on book 2. Ps the hard back is stunning 😍
