I could not be more pleased with the recordings I've just begun making with the Roswell mini K67x. My acoustic guitars (Larrivee, Alvarez) are playing back with a vintage vibe that leans in with just a little more clarity or high frequency response. Just enough of that to give this mic a bit of it's own sound in all the ways it should be. I'm getting a very, very big sound. Push the mic to hear the transformer you'll enjoy that, it did coax some fun tones into vocals. That's it from Long Island and will leave you with this, regardless of your budget you would be making a mistake not to try this mic, you won't send it back I'm getting another for when I want a pair for stereo.Signal path: mini K67x Rupert Neve Designs 511 Pre(love it) Rupert Neve 551 Inductor EQ (amazing) into an Apogee Symphony Desktop as a line input bypassing the Apogee pre amp. I have a bunch of LDC mics, including a U87AI, a Warm WA-47, various AT and Rode models, and a couple of ribbons. This mic is my favorite overall, though not as universal as some. Beautiful warm, rich tone, and doesn't get at all shrill when I belt into it. This is my go to anytime I want to fatten up a voice with richness and warmth. One of the two best condenser mic purchases I have ever made in terms of both sonic results and value.

I have a baritone voice and mic choice makes a difference. I was totally happy with the results from the k67x, especially the harmonic layers other costlier mics just don't have until you get over $2000.I use it on acoustic and electric guitars (blues jr amp), and vocals. I've heard drum recordings that sound great, but haven't record with it on drums --yet!Construction is solid, packaging does the job, very happy with this purchase.Ps: I read the review about "mud" and they either don't know what their doing or don't know what they're doing. Maybe the package got tossed around, but I've never had a bad mic from Roswell.

The media could not be loaded. This powerhouse is the new heart of my home semi-pro studio. Sounds great on guitars and vocals. It is amazing on my Fender Kingman acoustic bass guitar too! Accepts a standard foamie pop screen to block wind noise outside too. Compact and light too for long booms or arms.

A few years ago, Roswell's Mini K47 supplanted the SM57 in front of my guitar amp. I love the Mini K47 - great mic on just about everything. Then I got a Mini K67x and OMG!!! That transformer adds so much depth and air to the sound. It sparkles, it growls - to me, it perfectly captures and enhances the classic sound of my Fender amps. Get it - you won't regret it!

I picked up this mic to use as an all-arounder, from vocals to acoustic instruments to guitar amps. I have always been a big fan of the 67 sound and this does not disappoint- especially in such a small package. Comes with a very solid and useful shockmount and an awesome hard shell case. Looking forward to adding a few more to my collection!
