These plastic butt hinges by QLXHBOT performed great in the custom pedal board enclosure I built. They are pretty well made, and make the enclosure appear like a commercially available product. I opted for plastic hinges because they can handle being lugged around with other gear on the road, yet not deal too much damage to other surfaces. I gladly get more of these hinges for future enclosure builds.
