It's lightweight aluminum
These poles are extremely sturdy and dependable. I am very pleased and slightly surprised, when you consider the cost.

Durable
Used them and they are very durable easy to set up and make smaller or bigger and they hook on to my bag with its clip. Can tell it’s not made cheaply

Essential for my first-time trek on Grand Canyon's South Kaibab Trail in January 2024
I used these in the Grand Canyon in January 2024 on icy, snow covered trails on the South Kaibab Trail from the South Rim to Skeleton Point and back. These poles were absolutely essential for my safety and comfort on the trails. I'm from Florida and the elevation was definitely a factor for me. The poles were essential for the ascent back to the top, keeping me stable and giving me something to lean on while hiking back up and out of the canyon. I only used them for the one trip, so I can't speak to their durability. They were definitely worth the money and easy to use.

Very much functional and easy to assemble
Nice looking and strong walking sticks. I bought two sets, one for me and one for my wife. Used several times now and made walking on the trails much easier and somewhat safer.

They are okay.
I am sure most people might like these but for me I just couldn't get comfortable carrying them. Instead of using them, I carried them in the bag on the 4.2 mile hike because I felt safer without them. However on another trip, my sister's Dad used one and loved it.

Cheap -Dont buy
So I used these to hike Mt Storm King this weekend. One pole the bottom completely broke off. I also found that even my strong handed husband couldn't get the three parts locked in without them slipping on the size. These seem to be poorly manufactured
