Still standing after eight British summers
Happened to read some of the negative reviews for this product and thought I'd have to respond with a positive one. We bought one of these in 2010 and we still use it every summer. In fact I am sitting in it right now. It stays up for weeks on end and creates a brilliant outdoor space for the family to eat, snooze , party and play within. It's survived torrential rain, winds and summer storms. It's waterproof up to a point, eventually the water collects in the roof and sometimes leaks a bit through the seams, but it's still pretty good - have wondered about punching some eyes through to let it drain but have never got around to it, easy enough to tip them out once in a while. Yes, bits do sometimes break and bend however they are easy to replace with a screwdriver and socket set; buy some spares. I probably replace one or two struts each year, it only takes a few moments. Make sure you use some weights & pegs on the legs and fit the additional cross braces and all is good. For the money, our gazebo has been amazingly good value and when it finally does blow away we'll be buying another one!!

Leaks and too weak to be used
What can I say 3rd outing and moderate rain caused it to collapse, soaking everything and bending and breaking the frame. This was a replacement to a steel framed gazebo which had had its day after 7 years and initially my view was it was easy to put up and looked good but it leaks and water will pool on the roof with the weight collapsing the gazebo quickly. It didn't even keep the drizzle out, it simply soaked the cover and dripped through!Rather buy a cheap £50 disposable gazebo then this as it is too weak to work outdoors, not sure of its win resistance as it collapsed on a still evening! Will try for a refund but based on previous reviews not holding my breath. Also please read the reviews of those who've owned it a while, I thought it was great on a sunny day when first used, however the purpose was not to keep the sun off but to keep the rain off something it singularly failed to do.

Great Gazebo - especially when it poured with rain!
I purchased this gazebo as it appeared to be one of the few that could have the openings at the short ends as well as the middle as my garden is narrow but long.We used it on Saturday for a 50th birthday. It took a little while to work out how to put it up with my teenage children, but once we worked it out, it went up easily. We only added the sides during the party when it started to rain, and they went on quickly and worked very well. When we took it down, we left the roof on, as suggested on the instructions. This does make the frame a little more bulky and also means that although we can fit the frame and roof into the bag that it came in, the sides do not fit so we have to store those separately. This is not a big problem, but would have been better if we could have fitted everything in together. I find most tent bags are too small to re-pack though. The gazebo looked great, we also purchased the plastic weights that we filled with water and got some lights to put round inside. Everyone thought it looked lovely and we were particularly pleased with it when the rain came pouring down!It is easy enough to put up and down so can be used as one-off's rather than feeling like you need to leave it up for weeks!I would recommend this product.

Big Summer Gazebo
Big, water resistant and useful covers this gazebo as a description. Bought by my wife for a garden party escape room to deal with the vagaries of the British weather and used a couple of times since. The good is that it is relatively easy to put up. You do need two people minimum but if you are very careful, specially aware and persistent one man can manage. Not recommended I would suggest as it would be easy to cock it up and bend the frame work.In a nutshell you have an aluminium concertina type frame that expands out to a pretty good size. Bit fiddly but is quite rigid when fully open and locked into place. Over this you drag a water resistant awning that ties down to the legs leaving open sides which you then fill in with the remaining bits of material. And if there is one niggle it is this. The sides are held in place by velcro typemwraps that are not quite robust enough. I pulled one off immediately and had to exercise a good deal of caution over the rest.Still, over all I cannot moan too much because this is a good product for the money and with a bit of care will last a few summers.

Up to the great British summer!
I bought this for a BBQ party, we don't have room in the house for everyone so outdoor space was essential. As we approached the weekend the forecast wasn't good and for a change they were right, it rained non-stop from midday well into the night and it was heavy rain. The gazebo was brilliant, we used it with all the side panels on and excepting a few drips it lasted the day very well (we did have to nudge a few puddles off the roof occasionally), but given what I paid for it and that it is only showerproof it stood up brilliantly. We didn't have the guy ropes down just pegged the feet to the floor and the following day the wind picked up, with yet more rain, and although more drips had developed it was still standing, the only damage is one of the panel's velcro came off but I can re-stitch that. Given the weather I wasn't even expecting it to last the day but we've finally packed it away and will no doubt make use of it in more of our lovely summers! As a cheap back up plan for an informal do I would recommend this to anyone, if you are looking for a wedding marquee or a more formal do then look elsewhere and spend more money! Also, I ordered this on a Sunday night and it was with me by Tuesday, very pleased with the service.

Stabilität = Fehlanzeige

Aber so what.

Soweit alles i.O.
