This is my second one ordered. The first one lasted 5-6 years. Very good stability for side to side, and prevent buckling.

The best knee braces so far. I have tried others, they just kept slipping down my calves.

One size fits some
Realistically this is a decent product for a One size fits "all", off the shelf sort of thing. The product literature, depending on where you look says up to 22" thigh, but would be a functional fit up to a 19 or 20" thigh. Devoted runners or serious fitness junkies would probably opt for a real, properly fit, prescription brace if they needed a hinged knee brace. Most people do not likely need a hinged brace. Does the job in a pinch. and decent stability compared to a non-hinged brace. There is also no material behind the knee to bunch up in this design.

an activity I love. Since purchasing these braces the rate of deterioration ...
I have tired, old, damaged knees. A pair of these keeps me running, an activity I love. Since purchasing these braces the rate of deterioration of my knees has slowed and walking up and down stairs after my morning run is far more comfortable. Wearing the braces does not interfere with my running "performance" they are very comfortable. The one caution I have is that it is possible to apply them too tightly and reduce circulation to the lower leg. The problem is easily rectified by a brief stop and readjustment. In order to make donning the braces easier, I've applied white tape caps over the ends of the velcro straps. That keeps them from sticking when the ends are inserted into the loops and makes them visible when removing the braces. I've washed them several times in "Woolite" and so far no deterioration. This is a very reasonably priced knee brace which gives very good support for knees that are showing signs of wear.

knee brace for bad knees a great find
the hinged knee brace it great it really stabilizer my knee I have bone on bone knee caps and the pain when it twists is unimaginable and the knee brace helps me to not have that problem. My only problem I have with it is that it hooks together in the back instead of the front and makes it more difficult to get it on tight enough
