Good home impact wrench at a decent price.
This is a good home quality 1/2 inch impact wrench at a decent price. The set includes a decent hard shell plastic case, 2 batteries, a few impact sockets (not a full set but 6 common sizes) and one 1/2 inch extension.For me, the basic test is removing the lug nuts from my old F-350. They are torqued on at 160 fps so they aren't terribly difficult to remove but they aren't trivial either. This kit didn't include a large enough impact socket but I have the one I need. This wrench removed lug nuts from that truck in about 1 second per lug nut, which is to say, with no hesitation whatsoever.I wouldn't recommend this impact wrench for a professional shop though I suppose it would be okay for a few days in an emergency but for a shade tree/home mechanic it should be sufficient for many years.
