Good-Quality Unit, Easy to Install.
Nicely packaged PSU from Cooler Master, great looking too (for what it is!). PSU feels like a quality unit and is easy to fit (I'm a complete amateur). Noise wise it's ever-so -slightly noisier than the 500w I had fitted previously but this is barely noticeable.Overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend. Reason for new PSU is purchase of a higher spec. GPU early next year (hopefully GTX 1070/1080 or similar).

Appears to be a good solid unit. Cables are bulky and a little too long for my application, but that would not apply in all cases.

buying this was overkill, but opens me up to more options like installing a second graphics card.
a bit of overkill for the setup I made as I thought the wattage requirement for my graphics card was ion addition to the rest of the PC not a recommendation for the amount of power the power supply can supply for everything. it's nice than quite though and it's good to know I have enough power to get a second graphics card at some point.

i purchased this for a new build, its been a few weeks now and i have had no issues what so ever, the module design means i only have the cable i need, mean less restriction for air flow. also been module meant i could run the cable from which ever side was easier ie. connecting to the motherboard first then to the actually power supply.another positive side to this product is that i now have two wash bags. that cables and the power supply came in

A bit too big
I have a Coolermaster HAF 932 case and have been considering getting this PSU for it for a while as I have an older 1.2kW PSU from another manufacturer and I have been getting some odd issues symptomatic of PSU problems.When I first plugged the PSU into the mains to test it before fitting it to a motherboard there was an initial spark/bang but no evidence of damage to the PSU (subsequent plug-ins did not spark). I had some reservations but proceeded to test it against the motherboard and everything seems to be working fine.Physically, the PSU is larger than most to the point that in a HAF 932 case with the PSU fitted at the bottom you are unable to install a standard Coolermaster intake fan at the bottom of the case (something I previously had fitted) which is a bit disappointing (given both are manufactured by Coolermaster) and the main reason for only 4 stars.I would agree with some of the comments about these PSUs being a bit loud but it not overly so IMO, typical background server level noise rather than jet engine level. Noise level is not really a major concern for me though as I have learned to tune such noises out or at least to live with them (my HAF case is fitted with LOTS of fans - See attached photo of case before PSU refit).In general, I would recommend it but with the caveat about the physical size. I am monitoring the situation wrt potential PSU failure given the initial sparking issue but everything seems fine for the time being.Update: Reduced review to 1-star. Requested replacement after supplied unit assessed as faulty, but unlike originally provided item the replacement did not come with fitting screws nor the correct power cable (non-UK plug). Suggest getting product direct from a recognised dedicated computer parts supplier.

This bad boy is just excellent.Here cooler master have a true winner.This bad boy will feed any power hungry system with ease.The silence is also golden on this one.i have had it for 18 months and I can truly say that it is a beast.sli,crossfire you name it.This bad boy has got you covered.
