Wrong frequency for remote
The key looked right and, when ground and programmed, started the truck. However, the remote would not unlock and lock the truck because the chip frequency was wrong. Fortunately, I had a really knowledgeable locksmith do the work, and he found a chip with the right frequency in another key he had, which he sold to me for $25.

Key Works
I recently bought a tundra from an individual but it only had one key. The dealership wants a fortune for a programmed key. I ordered the key2go from Amazon for about $25 and had a keysmith program and cut it for $50. A real bargain and it works great.

Works but requires professional programming for some cars
They specify the part number and code that you can match against the chip's very small print inside your original key. That's a good way to make sure you are ordering the right key. They have a website that lets you program the key for SOME cars. After buying the key, I found out that my car was not one of the models you can self-program. So I had to locate a key place that does programming and pay $110 for cutting and programming the key. Still, $150 parts and labor beats the $420 the dealership would have charged!

Could mot get it to program.
I ordered this for my husband because his remote control did not work for his car. I took it to the locksmith and he tried and tried to get it programmed with no luck. I was there for over two hours with them trying to program it. It will start the car manually by inserting it in the key holder and turning the key. They ordered me one specifically for the make and year of the car (I had done that through Amazon). It arrived the next day and 5 minutes later I was on my way with a programmed key that works great. My advise, always go to a locksmith. If you are in the Tri-Cities, TN area, go to Tri-Cities Lock & Safe LLC. The staff was great.

Good key, bad Customer support
Programmed key at the locksmith - perfect fit for my 2013 RAV4. Keyless2go customer support is virtually non-existent. Both messages to verify fit went to the voicemail, with nobody returning a call. I was lucky, as FCC ID shown on the key 2AOKM-TOY-V4 did not match the original FCC ID GQ4-52T. Locksmith MUST cut a mechanical key first to program it, so return would not be possible. But all is well, that ends well.

Programmed to my car and saved me money
I ordered another key that didn’t end up programming to my car. Waited some time and had a key that the buttons didn’t work. This one programmed quickly and works. So much cheaper than the OEM version too.
