Works fine but as others have commented can drop fast if extreme care is not taken when turning the release handle.

Shipping was amazing, actually came a few days earlier than expected. The jack stands are great as are the wheel stoppers and the cart. The only issue I had was the jack. It’s a 2 ton jack and my vehicle is 3400 lbs and the jack struggled to lift my vehicle. Other than that it is a great set and worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend for a bigger sedan though. Perfect for a coupe or compact.

My husband's birthday is coming up and he mentioned he needed a new low profile Jack to work on his project car. So I figured it might be a good time to get him one! Asked his mechanic friends and they recommended this Powerbuilt low profile Jack. We got it a week ago and I asked him for some details and let you know about the pro and con. First, During this quarantine period I was worrying about the shipping time, because some of the other items I ordered took much longer to get here because it is not “essential”. I was pleasantly surprised it only took 2 days to get to my house! I believe it gets shipped directly from the warehouse with UPS. Which is great! The box with the Jack is pretty standard, Everything is assembled other than the Jack handle. It's pretty much good to go right after you unbox it. Pro: My husband's favorite thing about this Jack is the low profile design. His project car is super low to the ground and It still can go directly below it! I got some pictures next to my Honda (Not his project car hah) to show the low profile of the Jack. Overall the build quality is great, the Jack is very easy to move and the handle provides pretty good leverage. The lift height is very good. With the low profile and it still can get up to 19 and ½ inches height. Con: Because of the unique low profile design of the Jack the base on the Jack is lower. ( Which is the WHOLE point of a Low profile Jack). If you need to lift a truck or high SUV, don’t get this one! This is a quality, well made Jack, and it is kind of a specialty item because the design needs to work with a much lower profile of the whole Jack. So it's not cheap. Overall my husband’s (and his friends) do like this Jack a lot, it is a good quality tool with unique functions. He said he would highly recommend it.

Purchased this jack for my son; build quality appeared good, & it worked well for about 18 months of use. (Didn't use it very often, actually.) The jack's compression components broke, so it would no longer remain "up," which was disappointing as my son liked the jack. Warranty is only 1 year, but I thought manufacturer (Alltrade Tools) would make an exception as it broke so soon after warranty ended. Alltrade was extremely difficult to work with customer service-wise. I understood if they stuck to their 12 month warranty, so I asked for, perhaps, a discounted repair or a small discount on a brand new one. Long, long wait on customer service phone line. Rep then asked for photos of jack and copy of Amazon receipt. Sent them w/in 2-3 days. No reply. Emailed again--no reply. Phoned--long, long wait, they finally answered & said a manager would contact me in a few days. Didn't happen. Emailed again--no reply. That was a month ago, so we purchased another brand jack. Jack worked well, but didn't last long. And if you hope to get some help from Alltrade Tools customer service, it isn't likely.

My 8 years olds craftsman jack is getting a bit too old and tired so I decided to get a new one. Got a recommendation on this Powerbuilt jack and wanted to give it a try. I will let you know about the pro and con, and why I love it so much. First, oh my gosh…. Amazon 1 day ship is no joke. I ordered this thing on my phone and this get dropped off at my house no later than 24 hours. YMMV but this is seriously quick shipping. The box come with the Jack is pretty standard, did a unboxing video on it so you can check it out if you want. Everything is assembled other than the handle. It's pretty much ready to use right away after you unbox it. Pro: My personal favorite about this Jack is the unique saddle design. I can put a jack stand directly below it! Might not sound like much but most modern vehicles built with unibody frame. That means the car have limited Jack point for you to lift up the vehicle. Now I can put the Jack stand right where I need it to be! Overall build quality is great, the Jack is easy to move around and the oversized handle provides good leverage. The lift height is very good. My old craftsman Jack is designed to lift SUV and this one can lift even higher than my old one. So definitely a big pro if you got a truck or big SUV. Con: Because of the unique design of the saddle the base on the Jack is wider. That mean if your car lift point is close to the tire it will be a bit harder to position the Jack under it. Not a big con for me personally but something people should know about. This is a good quality, very well made tool, meaning it's not the cheapest Jack you can find. If all you need or do is one oil change every few months then it might be better for you to just get a car ramp and save some money. Overall I do like this Jack a lot, it is a good quality tool with unique functions. I will recommended for anyone DIY on vehicle and need a great quality Jack.
