We jar our own sauce so these jars are needed.

Love the wide mouth jars. Very easy to store food in them. I vacuum seal lots of my fruits, veggies and nuts in them. Love that they are reasonably priced. Often switch anything that is sold in plastic to these jars. Everything stores nicely in them either in the refrigerator or in my cabinets. Can readily see what they contain as well. I use the labels to identify what in the jar along with the date food was purchased. I have purchased many of them in most of the sizes they have available.

I am not using these for canning but rather to store dry goods like rice, barley, flour, etc. I chose the wide mouth so it is easy to fill and remove quantities of the dry good desired. I washed them and their lids thoroughly with warm, water. The deal was for 12. This was barely more expensive than just 6 of plastic ones, otherwise similar (volume, mouth size). I'll find out whether these are more durable and have lasting quality compared to the plastic ones. I have them all on the same shelf, but I do not stack them.

I use these as exterior light coverings and they work excellent. Not thin glass and beautiful
