Cheap build does not instill confidence
I've used a multimeter most of my adult life. First, in the military, then at GE for 9 years. After that, I just always kept one around the house for any number of reasons, like checking batteries, voltages, etc. When my GE issued multimeter finally quit working, I bought this Tenma. Not long after I purchased it (though long enough to not be able to return it), something internally just sort of... snapped. The knob would still turn, but the detent was completely non-existent. In other words, when turning to the desired function, there was no more click. Everything still works, but I have to be very careful to position the knob exactly where I want. I've kind of lost my confidence on Tenma products. The build is obviously inferior, and I can't say I'd recommend purchasing this unit.

it is a cheap meter and without instructions it was useless.
THE METER CAME WITHOUT INSTRUCTONS AND THE WEB SITE PROVIDED DIDN'T WORK.
