Item worked as needed. I was able to adapt an old VGA port in a custom table to HDMI.

Perfect for my digital dashboard for my race car. Bulkhead style into the surround for the screen and controller allowing me to unplug the dashboard without taking it apart. Make the install look clean.

I'm a professional in the AV world, and the receptacles on this item doesn't seem to accept the standard screw, at least nothing I already have in stock. Wish they would mention the screws needed or include them with purchase.Otherwise it seems to function as expected.

Works perfectly! Sturdy design and durable materials. Mounts nice and secure and holds the hdmi cables tightly. Recommended.

While they are well made, they forgot that simply inserting a nut into a plastic hole *without* connecting the back side simply lets the screw pull the nut out. So that, when you think you have fastened the coupler, the first time you push in your HDMI cable, it will push the coupler away from you.So, they are not worth anything.I drilled a hole through the back of both wings and inserted screws to hold the nuts, however, that then decreases the depth of the thread for the screws from the front. The nuts should have been the type that have a threaded shaft on the back side that is fastened with a nut and washer. Just like they do with DB9 & DB25 connectors.Sorry.

Mine came with screws. Vendor must read the reviews. Used one to make a minimal terminal in the base board. Didn’t want a huge jbox two outlet size. Perfect for my need. Only tried HDMI 2 @ 1080. No issues with digital rights content. No idea about 4K. Sorry.

Based on the description it appeared that I would have no trouble changing the gender of an HDMI cable end to female, to use a longer cable . Will not work with a Firestick signal ! No idea why .
