I wasn’t sure what to expect from a $50 drone, but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. No assembly required, unless using the (4) protective frames. If so, it’s nothing difficult. Instruction manual was easy to follow along. Flying the drone has been so much fun. Whether flying around in your backyard or a nice big open field, adults and kids will love it. There’s an extra battery included. So if you’re having too much fun and suddenly need to land your drone to swap out the battery, you’ll be back up and flying in no time. I got what felt about 20 minutes of battery life with each battery. So not bad. Careful of wind while flying at certain speeds (you’ve got low/med/high), as they can cause your drone to drift or be carried away. I’m still getting used to the Velcase app. The sign up and login only took a few minutes. No issues. You can fly the drone with or without the app. With the app, you can utilize additional features. Without the app, you can still access some of the same basic features such as taking off/landing, capturing photos/videos, etc., using the controller that comes with the drone. I’m happy with the drone I received. I would consider purchasing another as a gift for a friend or family member who was interested in this kind of tech.

I am really happy with this purchase. Right from the start, I was impressed. It comes with a nice carrying case, a remote control, extra propeller blades, and a USB-C cable—all packed up neatly. The setup instructions are easy to follow, so getting started was simple. One thing I really like is the three-speed option. The slowest speed is perfect for indoors or beginners, while the higher speeds are better for outdoor use in open spaces. This makes it a great choice for people of all skill levels, from kids to adults. The remote control can be used with or without a smartphone, so its not necessary to connect it to your phone to fly. The AAA batteries for the remote are included, so you can start using it right out of the box. Battery life is pretty good, too. After charging both batteries, I got about 30 minutes of flying time on each one, which gave my kids almost an hour of fun without needing to recharge. The one-key take-off/landing and 360° flip features make it extra fun, and the propeller guards add a bit of safety. Overall, this drone has been a great buy. It’s easy to use, durable, and packed with fun features. I’d recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a kid, beginner, or experienced flyer!

While this is a nice small drone beware that its transmission control is very limited. I would also comment on the fact that I purchased it for $35 and the retail was quoted at $250+. It now shows a price of $45 and a retail of $69. Product pricing thus is very suspect for this drone. My first test flight with a fully charged battery was 5 minutes before it started showing battery degradation. This test flight was in my garage where I have 18 ft ceilings. My second flight was outside and the drone didn’t respond to the inputs when it got 40 ft above me. Every attempt to correct flight with the controller wasn’t being processed and the drone just flew away. Running after it was futile and I suspect it hit trees and lodged in them. So I would not buy this ever again and would let others know the cheap price comes with the potential of wasting your money as I did. Addendum: I recovered the drone and found the back two motors seized due to overheating of the motor. I suspect while lodged in the tree the motors continued to run but one motor was interfered with probably by a tree branch thus causing the melting of plastic and the internal parts of the motor. Beware of this product both from previous posts on battery melting and you can now add motor melting. Safety is of great concern and issues with this product are apparent.

My eight-year-old loved this drone for his birthday, it’s really fun to fly and works exactly as expected. The only downside is that the batteries don’t last very long, so you’ll need to keep a spare charged if you want longer play sessions. We even managed to get it stuck in a tree once, but luckily we were able to retrieve it without any damage. Overall, it’s a great drone for kids and provides lots of entertainment

I bought this drone to get used to flying quad rotors, without risking crashing a more expensive drone. What I liked about it is that it's easy to carry around and the battery is easy to swap out. Flying it was fun, it can go relatively fast for its size. For the most part, the optical tracking camera keeps the platform stable. I've run it into a couple of things, and its survived the collision. There were even times were it stayed in the air after one of the propellers slightly brushed up against something. Flying it is fun. I was hoping to get some imagery off this drone in order to test some object detection and visual odometry algorithms. For this purpose, a 1280x720 resolution is more than enough. I knew there was no image stabilization, and for these purposes that is completely fun. However, the motion blur ruins a lot of the video frames. Unless you're not touching the controls and there's no wind, you won't get a clear image. There is no storage on the device. When you capture video or imagery, it is capturing a heavily compressed JPEG frame sent over UDP (broken up into several packets). Because of this technique, you can't expect a smooth frame rate (especially when its out of line of sight or far away) and quality of the image is significantly reduced. Despite what the title says, this is not a 1080p drone. It transmits JPEGs at the resolution of 1280x720, so its technically 720p. The application you download to use it is kind of finicky. It asks you to sign up for an account, but I was able to use it without doing this by hitting the back button. The app would crash every time I tried to change the settings. If you look up the developer of the app, you'll find that it is by LIU DEV - who makes a lot of the apps of the other drones sold on Amazon and I believe the company is LE WEI - they seem to make a lot of camera-like toys sold on Amazon under different brand names. I wouldn't buy it again, because of the quality of the video recording (maybe, you just get what you pay for). I am giving it two stars instead of three, because the advertised resolution is not truthful.

I am a part time realtor; I bought this to show clients land they are interested in. What I have found is that if you are showing say less that 250 acres and are in an area that has a decent cell signal it is awesome. The video quality is very good, and the flying time allows you to get right to the edge of the land and back. However, what I have found is that if you are in an area that the cell signal is week you get about 200' and that is it. As soon as the drone cannot communicate with your cell it just stops. I don't really see this a a defect but as a parameter. As entry level goes this one is great.

Estabilidade e controle de voo muito ruins. Não pega calibragem. Grande de risco de perder o drone por colisões e risco de acidentes pela baixa estabilidade e controle.

Ele não se estabiliza e é levado com o vento facilmente, quebrou muito rápido

La batería solamente le dura 5 minutos, en la descripción dice que dura 26 minutos... También veo comentarios que les incluía dos baterías a mi solo me enviaron una.. Ya pedí mi reembolso y aún no veo respuesta.
