Absolutely amazing product. I had an old neon sign that the tube was broken and burned out. This was the only option I found and it worked perfectly. Its' a beautiful blue and looks great. This product was easy to use, cut and attach. It even came prewired with an end to plug into a transformer. It also comes with short wire ends if you cut the strip so you can attach power to it. My only issue with the strip is it's pretty bright and I'll have to come up with a way to dim it a little but this is only for my application. I highly recommend it for a neon replacement..

Brightness is OK, not as bright as a standard LED strip. The color is a light blue, not a deep blue like you'd get on standard LED strips.

These LED neon strips are bright, colorful and easy to work with. They have large contacts on both sides of the strip and have cut lines every 1 cm instead of every 2.5 cm. This gives much more flexibility when creating neon sign designs. On the down side they are all white in color so there is no way to tell what color they produce until they are illuminated. I suppose this would be fine if they were hidden and providing indirect lighting but for neon signs, I feel it is a short coming. Secondly, they do not come with a power adapter and remote like some other products. My opinion is that if the power adapter and remote were included, of course for an additional fee, this product would be a total homerun!

A little familiarity with low voltage lighting will help on your installation. I wanted mine “hard wired” to my light switch for my patio fan light so I purchased a hard wired power brick for LED lights. Since I had four lights, I got a wire block to tie all the wires in to the power brick. The lights have nice lockable (I think they are 3.5mm ) ends but I cut mine short since I got some generic male ends for the wiring from the power brick to the lights. I used furnace thermostat wiring which is colored Red and White instead of Red and Black.

Nice illumination, hope they hold up. Note that the soldering diagram shows positive away from lite. It's the closest soldering pad to lite source
