Very fun but not for solo play
Was looking for a new game to play with friends as both the mainstream card games had either got two costly or professonal in our area...what can i say the rules were simple to pick out and there were no really mad combos that were broken (yugioh, magic again fall into this). You can play two types of games using this the 50 card version (known as a full game) in which you have 6 damage or the 25 card version (call flash fights) and you have 4 damage. This is just starting out with box number two just coming out.need more that one player to play this just to note.

Honestly, nothing wrong with the cards, came in good condition, just couldn't get into the game after watching the anime based around it.

The differences
As the other two say, great product. But what about the choice?those of you who watched the anime or did plenty of research into the long future of the two clans would instantly know what to choose. This is for those who don't, like the inexperienced or casual browsers. This deck is royal Paladin, centred around, quite obviously, Blaster Blade. the combinations of cards are passable, with excellent exclusives, if you want to switch themes to focus on the grade 3, Bors. But if you do not? you need to start buying packets.King of Knights Alfred, just as famous as Blaster Blade, is NOT in the deck. Instead, you may get lucky and pull him in a pack, sold separately. Gancelot is strong, however, being able to win half the game if he hits under the right conditions (which shouldn't really be tried, but hey). gancelot's main use, however, is pulling out Blaster Blade (yes, him again). It has an extra effect that puts it in the deck to add Blaster Blade to your hand, essentially ensuring you will get him at SOME point. if unsatisfied with Brigitte, the last of the three grade 3s, which isnt hard, mind you, try replacing him with Lohingrin, Alfred (both found in packs. The former is easier to get, but the latter is stronger in the right circumstances) or more Gancelots. So the grade 3s are lacking, but what about the grade 2s?Excellent, CURRENTLY speaking. Blaster Blade is, of course the All Star. It has an awesome effect when in either the Vanguard circle or rearguard circle (jargon youll understand instantly) if you got roughed up a bit beforehand. Of all the Grade 2s, he is quite possibly on of the only one you will use constantly. The problem? well, theres only one of him in the deck! Though a problem somewhat averted by Gancelot (see above), you really do want more. Problem? he's as hard to get as Alfred. The other grade 2 is Knight of Silence, Gallatin. Effect you say? None, I say. But he IS strong. Really strong, for a grade 2. If, for some reason, you felt like playing Blade as a rear Guard, this will likely be you vanguard.tristan deserves an honourable mention, but randalf should be spurred to the back of your mind, unless you convert it into a specialised deck.Grade 1s are standard fare, really. All the key roles are filled. Marron is Gallatin, dropped a rank. Tarlight Unicorn and Knight of rose, Morganna are fairly good. Morganna is a good start, but it should be moved back or replaced as the fight wears on. Starlight is better, overall. You don't have to lose hand size for its attack and, the turn it is played, it can really power up Bors or Gancelot.Wingal deserves it's own mention, but only so it doesn't deceive you. While an extra 4k whilst boosting Blade (AGAIN, he shows up!), you really won't get much chance to pull this off, which is unfortunate, really. replace him over time, with Lien, an easy packet pull, or the rarer Iseult. Iseult is preferred, but why not both?Grade 0s are really simple: All but one is a trigger. the individual triggers i wont get into, because, except for the draw trigger, they are all the same, statistically (5k, 10shield -Gavonon only has 5s-).The non-trigger is Stardust Trumpeter. It might seem good, being 1k more than the others, and it is intended to be the starting Vanguard, but it pales in comparision to Barcgal, another Alfred rarity (Mrketing...). Clans all have a grade 0 starting Vanguard that pulls tself from the soul, but Trumpeter cannot do such.Do not fool yourself into thinking of this as a complete deck. It's not. It will fall behind competition i you do not update it with cards from DESCENT OF THE KING OF KNIGHTS (yes, Alfred) but if you do, you will finally be able to trump Dragonic Overlord.

Starter vanguard deck
One of the four starters vanguard game decks of the moment, two more will be added next year, which is made from the main character of the vanguard anime aichi sendo. It isn't bad at all since it will come with one blaster blade and a good base to start aying however who chose use royal paladins deck will need to spend some money in boosters to upgrade it.
