What a smart and useful pen. It's light to handle and very easy to get the hang of. I got this to decorate books I have rebound, as the larger press are about £200... this works great and an alternative! (Shame my writing isn't up to par).I have also used this on wood crafts, and is beautiful to etch/emboss onto wood. Would highly recommend!

Thus makes no impression whatsoever on the foil. Terribly disappointing.

I am actually impressed with this pen. I do a fair amount of card making and have tried hot foiling in the past with laminators and with special hot foil glue, both of which gave results I was not happy with. I didn’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a hot foiling machine so I gave up on the idea. Then along came this pen…Plug it into a USB point, wait a few minutes, lay down the supplied foil on top of the chosen card and away you go! I did mine with a stencil over the foil and, for my first ever go, it came out pretty well. I can see that if I took more care and had more practice that I could get some great results.With a current price of only £12.99, this gives a much more affordable option to do hot foiling. I am very happy with it.

This is a simple set that just works. The pen heats up quickly and produces a perfect, very fine-tipped foil impression. I've used on paper and a PU phone case, and the resulting foil decoration can't be scratched off, even with some effort.Comes with a roll of gold foil - this is a really useful and well-priced foiling pen at just £12.99 (at time of review)

If I could leave a 0 star I would. It came and the charging port was dodgy. Light to say it was charging flickered. Wouldn't stay on long enough to even slightly heat up.
