Good quality security cam with a sensitive mic, easy set up, and good app.
First Impression – During unboxing everything felt sturdy and of good quality material. Attaching it to the wall was simple, straightforward, and all the hardware was supplied.Ease Of Use – The instruction clarity for set up was average. I had some trouble initially connecting it to my wifi, but that was due to the wifi extender it would be getting signal from. The method of using a QR code to connect makes this a very simple set up if you're connecting to a single wifi source. The app is also fairly easy to use, and doesn't require much effort to become acquainted with its functions. It has a cloud subscription you can pay for, or you can install a micro SD card, and I don't find that it gives me too many prompts to pay for their service, unlike other brands that push it at every opportunity. Some of the app functionality (ie: filters for certain objects) are reserved for cloud customers, but this doesn't make the camera unusable. I was also able to add a skill to Alexa for this camera and it connects well to both my Fire Cube and my Echo.Positives – The mic on this camera is very sensitive and the sound is very clear. The picture is also very clear, with no lag or pixelation despite the poor wifi signal it gets on my property. The installation and set up were easy and the app is easy to use.Negatives – The label sticker in the port where you put the SD card is off-center and it was difficult to get the SD card in. This isn't necessarily a major issue, just noteworthy.Cost Vs. Quality – The price for this was average for security cameras, so I feel like the quality easily makes this worth buying. The app works well with Alexa and is prompt with motion alerts on my phone and on my Echo/Fire Cube.Special Notes – I gave this high marks for night vision, but I keep it on a front porch that's well lit so I'm not sure of how well it functions in a truly dark area. Comparably to another camera I have in my back yard this one is superior based on how it responds to light in the frame. My other camera has large light auras in the frame from a neighbours exterior light that's always on and unavoidable. The camera in this review doesn't seem to have the same issue.

Great value, but lacking some important features/functions
The camera and app all work great and the video picture is very clear even on the lower resolution setting. I had no issues completing the setup process once I listened to the instructions and placed the camera near the wireless router. The speaker is a lot clearer than I’ve experienced with other wireless cameras and I’m confident anyone I’m speaking to would be able to understand me perfectly. I’ve also noticed that when you press the microphone button the camera begins transmitting audio instantly, unlike some other cameras I’ve tried which have an annoying delay before audio begins transmitting which cuts off your first word and causes confusion.Another very nice feature that this camera has which you don’t see in many others is the ability to force the infrared lights off even in darkness - very useful if you’d like to use the camera to monitor an outside area from inside, through a window. The app functions very well and has very large, easily readable text - great for the elderly or anyone else with poor vision. It’s not perfect though. I do have some complaints. Firstly, the spotlight does not activate when motion is detected. This may seem minor, but in my experience, unwelcome visitors can’t help but notice the activation of lights. I have another camera which does have motion activated lighting and have personally witnessed the reactions that this prompts from trespassers snooping around very late at night. They leave immediately. The motion detection zone, used to block out high traffic areas from triggering motion detection alerts, lacks precision. Other cameras have something like a hundred small segmented areas which you can enable/disable, while this one only has twelve very large segments.Without paying for a subscription, the motion detection cooldown feature is locked to 5 minutes, so if another motion occurs within 5 minutes of the first detection, no alerts/notifications will be triggered for it.

Excellent Value for the Price
This product has lots of features and works as advertised.Likes: -10 foot 12 v power cord (120v at plug, 12v to camera) - excellent night vision- even in pitch black conditions - works with 64 gb micro card recording events and sends them to cell phone via 7 second videos - no batteries to changeDislikes- initial setup was a bit tricky on a dual channel 2.4/5gh wi-fi router network .(1 star off) Everything was included including the screws and template for wall mounting. It is important to make sure you set up the camera before mounting because you need to scan the QR code on the camera label to connect to your wi-fi network, and possibly use the reset button. I had to turn off my 5g network before the camera would find the 2.4 gb frequency. I received an error code 01 saying with a voice that it detected a 5 g network. Once this hurdle was past the install went well. I installed a inexpensive 64 gb micro sd card and set the camera for continuous recording. The card had to be formatted and the camera menu has a place to do this then tells you the card is mounted. From your phone you can turn on the lights , talk or turn on a siren,( the siren is not real loud) A few features are disabled if you don't sign up for a subscription service but they are not a big deal as long as you install a sd card (not included). I did text their help chat line and got answers in a few minutes. I have a small tablet that I set up and continuously monitor the driveway. If an event(movement) happens it is flagged and sent to my Samsung android phone as a notification.Overall I feel this is a great buy for the price and works as advertised. Lots of different options if you want cloud subscriptions

Affordable Security Camera with Loads of Features!
So, I got my hands on this super affordable security camera, and man, it's been a pleasant surprise!First things first, setting this bad boy up was a breeze. The app works like a charm on both Android and Apple devices, and you've got a ton of options to play around with. You can customize the detection alerts, set up specific areas for detection, and get notifications right on your phone. But wait, there's more! This camera has this killer noise filter technology that lets you chat with your delivery peeps through the app. No more missed packages, my friend. Storage-wise, you can choose between cloud or using an SD card.Oh, one more thing. Some features require a subscription, but honestly, as long as you've got an SD card, it's no problem. This camera is still a bang for your buck. Real-time recordings, customization galore, and you can even keep an eye on things from your phone. Totally worth every penny.
