Comfortable and solid
After a few months of owning this chair I have decided to update my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. I absolutely love this thing! I have spent several hours on different days sitting in this chair doing craft work and I am pleased to say that the memory foam cushion is firm and supportive. I have knee problems so I was concerned that this little chair might aggravate them, but so far so good. It's easy enough to stretch my legs out in front instead of kneeling on the front cushion. I am using it for outdoor demonstrations of my craft works and sometimes I have very limited space, so this is perfect - portable and concise in its space requirements. I chose the light color material and I am a little concerned that it might show signs of wear sooner than a darker material would. It seems to be fairly stain proof, but time will tell. Very pleased overall.

This Chair Reeks
I have used kneeling chairs in the past, so this is not my first experience with this type of seated posture. This chair is a terrible example of a kneeling chair. First, the cushioning is awful. The frame was digging into my backside after only a few minutes. The pillow looks plush, but it basically does nothing. Second, I went with this chair because it was advertised as adjustable, which officially it is. What they don't tell you is that the mechanism is one screw, and once you twist it to make the seat higher, you are basically wobbling like a Weeble. Once my chair is at the right height, I feel like I'm on a boat, because the unsteady chair rocks back and forth every time you make the slightest movement. Third: THE ODOR. I bought this chair WEEKS ago and it stunk like it had been drenched in toxic sludge. I put it out on the balcony for two nights, and it still smelled terrible. I put it aside for about three weeks, and started using it again this morning, thinking that the odor would have dissipated by now. Nope. I'm getting a headache from the smell wafting up at me, and my pants stink as well! (Yes, I shower daily and wash my clothes, LOL.) Save yourself the irritation and do not buy this chair. I only wish I could return it, but to disassemble it I would have to have my face near it for way too long, and the smell is literally so bad that it burns my eyes and gives me a headache.

Exactly what I expected.
Nice chair, fits completely under my desk, looks nice and is comfortable. My only complaint would be the quality of the stitching on the cushions. However this is a great value, a nice chair in this price range. I’d recommend to anyone with a home office space.

Nice Chair, Once/If you're able to Assemble It!
SUMMARY: More like 3.5 Stars, rounded up. The chair itself is nice enough - design, adjustability, comfort, a good value. ...BUT WHAT A CHORE TO ASSEMBLE! Don't get me wrong. The instructions are easy, and in theory, assembly itself should be quick. All the tools are included. But what otherwise is supposed to take maybe 15 minutes at most, took me over an hour to put together! DETAILS: Why? I was wondering myself, cursing occasionally throughout. I was having the most difficult time getting a long screw to thread into a barrel nut that's inserted deep in a wood support hole. I thought maybe there's a coating on the screw or nut that's not allowing them to grab, threading was stripped, etc. Discovered that the screw and nut hole, that's supposed to meet at 90 degrees, was at least 1/8" off, which meant that trying to screw one into another was not happening. I thought about drilling my own holes, maybe returning the chair, but ended up forcing the screw at a skewed angle. That was the first of 4 of the same attachment, and fortunately, the other were comparatively easier (a total of 2 of 4 holes drilled out of tolerance, the first, described here was the worst offender, but 50% pain-in-the-ass doesn't inspire the most confidence). Alas, the chair is completed and I'm enjoying it now. Sorry, no pictures of the actual described condition. Instead, it's of a similar hardware; now that the chair is assembled, I'll be damned if I have to take it apart to show the misalignment...

Love this chair
I'm super happy with this chair so far. Putting it together really wasn't bad...just took a little time. And now that I've been using it for about 2 weeks, I have to say, it's really improved how I feel after a long day at the computer. The circulation in my legs no longer gets cut off and my back doesn't ache. The only complaint I have is that it would be great if the casters were able to roll all over and not just back and forth. But that's pretty minor and overall I'm a very happy customer!

Not perfect, but pretty good
I replaced my "ergonomic" wobble stool that made my legs fall asleep with this chair and it is a huge improvement. Overall I like it, but I wish there were a way to adjust the height independent of the relationship between the seat and knee pads. I can also already tell that I will need to add padding to the seat before long, but that will be easy to do. It is pretty attractive which is important for me because it stays in the living room, but I am disappointed at how obvious the assembly hardware is after assembly and it does keep it from being quite as sleek as it could be. Overall I'm happy with it for the price. Assembly instructions were not the clearest but I figured it out, no problems.

Comfortable Chair
This chair took longer to assemble than I was expecting and the directions were sometimes confusing, but when I did mange to assemble it correctly I loved the chair. It's very comfortable and elevates my lower back pain. It is sturdy, made and, attractive. Overall I loved it and thought the assembly was worth it.

Defective, shoddy construction
The chair I received was defective in a way that made it impossible to assemble. On one side, the hole where you insert the barrel nut does not line up with the hole where you insert the screw, so the screw can’t be fastened on that side. In addition they gave me 6 small screws instead of 2 small screws and 4 medium screws. Finally, the wood around the screw holes of several pieces is flaking off in sharp pieces, very likely to give you a splinter. I can tell this would be a good looking chair and the instructions are clear and illustrated with photos. Unfortunately the defective construction makes it impossible to use.
