Great Every Day Boot
I'm on my second pair of these. The first pair I wore for 4 years and they're still in great shape. I had them resoled once, but the leather, stitching, eyelets, and the rest have all held up very well.I just bought a second pair because the first pair I sealed with a wax and the leather got MUCH darker, and I didn't like the look.Pros:1) Nice balance of dressy and casual2) Well-constructed3) not too heavy4) extremely comfortable due to the leather not being very thick and the soles being very pliable5) can be resoled6) fairly priced7) insoles can be removedCons:1) soles are very soft, which means you'll have to replace them fairly quickly.2) Wish they came in more colors.3) Tongue isn't lined (although the rest of the boot is). Really not a big deal.

Comfortable boots even after 15+ miles of combined walks.
Had these boots for a little over 2 weeks, here's what I think about them:- Shoe size matched the same size I wear for government issued boots: 10W. I did not have to order a size down like other reviews have noted.- I have flat feet and the boots are able to accommodate arch support soles with no spacing issues. Toe box is a little on narrow side but not much of a concern for me.- The leather on these is much softer than the typical work boots I wear, pretty sure they would tear easily if used in abrasive type work environments.- Without speed lacing eyelets on the ankle part of the boot you can expect to take longer to put on and take off boots.- Ankle support is pretty solid on these, pretty standard protection you can expect from any similar ankle high boots. I'm considering getting a local cobbler to add some to mine.- I wear these as a everyday type shoes and average about 10,000 steps a day. I really like how comfortable they feel even at the end of the day. There no break in period needed with these and my feet felt good even after day 1 of wearing them.- If they last more than a year then I'll definitely order another pair.

Overall Great Boots
I've been wearing Timberland Earthkeepers for 12 years now. I started with the moc-toe model and they lasted through water, snow, wild nights and long walks for 10 years. The fit was snug but, as it should be. I then bought a different style, titled "Rugged Hiking Boot" and have been wearing them off and on for 3 years. Comfortable with good tread but, not crazy about the style once I put jeans over them. Overall, I use them for rain or snow. Then I bought these. Love the look - can definitely dress up or down. Great, sticky tread and really soft leather fresh out of the box. My only complaint is the toe box is pretty cavernous. The width is accurate but, the top-to-bottom space is a little too forgiving.

disappointed i didn't couldn't get more use out of them.
these where my first legitimate boots for a while from wearing sneakers just about daily. took about a month proper of just about daily walking about to break them in with some moderate work, nothing strenuous. began loosing the outsole around 4 months in from when i tripped. tried reglueing them and they stayed for a weeks but began peeling back again. i managed them till 11 months where a heel began peeling off.about a years worth of a lifespan for the boot. fairly bad for a shoe overall.

Excellent boots
These are my first Timberlands and I purchased them as work boots in a semi-industrial environment (working on ships). I’ve had them for about 6 months and they have disappointed. They are comfortable and provide the necessary support for being on my feet all day. The leather has a few scuffs but is overall standing up well. Overall great boots at a reasonable price considering the quality.

Best boot I've ever worn.
The media could not be loaded. These boots are about the only thing I wear 6 months of the year. They are incredibly comfortable. The lining is soft, and seems to wick sweat away better than regular boots. I wear them to work (just office work) and about everywhere else. I would consider them casual wear, as opposed to work or hiking wear. The upper is well put together, with stitching that holds up well, and even the laces are intact after 3 years. The only downside is that the soles do wear out faster than the uppers. I suppose this is a side effect of the recycled material, so I'll take it as a trade off. I am going to try and resole them this year, but if that doesn't work out, I will definitely buy another pair. These are too good to be without.UPDATE - 12-25-2014: Just had them re-soled after 4 years. I've read elsewhere that it isn't possible because the soles were rubbery, but I just brought them in to the local shoe repair place "John's Shoe Repair" if you happen to be in San Diego. Great job. The color of the new sole is darker. We looked at everything he had in stock, and only a few had heals that matched, so I picked the closest option. The upper still look great, and I'm looking forward to another 4 years. I can't load another video here, but I'll post one for you on the tube ;-)UPDATE - 11-20-2019: Survived to second resole. Was able to get a Vibram sole this time. Upper still looks great. Started taking care of the leather better with conditioner after my last resole.

Great Boots!
These are AMAZING Boots, very comfortable!Timberland's fit a little large, so it's always best to buy a 1/2 size smaller.
