I was looking for an alternative to diabetic pills and Organic Berberine Supplement Liquid Drops flavor was good and I was able to remember to take it daily.

Berberine is relatively new to me, but after taking it in capsule form I decided these give this a try. I expected these drops to taste bitter - but they actually taste like pineapple (likely due to the natural pineapple flavor identified on the bottle). I found these easy to take both sublingually and and mixed with (plain) hot water - and believe if added to tea (or another beverage) you wouldn’t even know you were taking it. The expiration date is 2 years after the manufactured date - so if you get a fresh bottle it should last for awhile (although if taken as recommended a bottle should only last 30-days)I like this product, but also have questions. As far as I can tell the product is manufactured by Alliwise for Munich Global Trade Company which has a Texas address - but nowhere on the packaging does it explicitly say this product is made (instead of just distributed) by an American company - so I just don’t know (and I preferably supplements to be domestic). The quality of the product doesn’t seem to have been certified through an independent testing lab. The product page (at the time of this review) clearly states the Berberine content to be 1500 mg PER BOTTLE, but the supplement facts indicate 1500mg per 2ml servings (which one is correct?). The additional contents (cinnamon, green coffee bean, bitter melon, green tea, artichoke leaf, milk thistle) seem to be at lower concentrations than similar supplements - but I’m not sure why (flavor?). The single 2ml serving is split into two half sized servings of 1ml each - and the dropper is graduated to 1ml, except the most I could get it to hold was 1/2 ml (not a big deal, I just measured this twice).My 4-star rating reflects a leap of faith that the supplement facts on the bottle are reliable, and that this product is easy to take - but I don’t generally buy products on faith and without further clarifications am unlikely to buy this product again.

I seem to be more regular when using this product although it is too sweet for my preference.

I have been getting awful headaches after taking this supplement! I started with the suggested amount. Then split it twice a day with food to see if it would help and it doesn’t. Then I did a half dose twice a day, and the same thing. I can’t use it anymore…
