Quality item should outlast me
Extremely solidly built item, all metal- even the battery door - and comes in a lovely zip case which also has a pocket for the extra continuity testing leads. It has sockets for an amazing amount of different plugs and the auto mode is nice for a quick check of your cables. This tester is able to check leads with different plugs on each end eg XLR to 6.35mm Jack and some of these devices don’t have this facility. Overall I’m delighted and I’ve already tested loads of cables that were intermittent and located the faults. Good job Amazon!

Works as intended would recommend. Been using it in work with no problems.

2 of 3 good. 1 of 3 dead...
I bought 3 of these at once (one for me, two for friends). Two of them are great, one of them is dead - no signs of life. Tried swapping batteries etc (obvs). Got in touch with the manufacturer who just said "return it through Amazon" which wasn't as much help as I'd hoped for - a swift and smooth replacement would have been much preferred. Ho hum, 2 out of 3 isn't terrible.
