Perfect fit for Gunwerks G7 BR2 Ballistic Range Finder
I searched high and low for a pouch for my Gunwerks G7 BR2 Ballistic Range Finder. I took a chance on this pouch and it fits perfectly! Not a big fan of the flimsy molle attachments but I simply cut them off and used the 3" Maxpedition TacTies. Added a coiled retention strap and now I have the perfect pouch!

Does exactly what it is meant to do
I recently got into night vision with a PVS-14 and needed a soft pouch to hold it on my rig. I got this pouch and was satisfied. Holds my PVS-14 with J-arm and even has two slots for batteries. The padding is not the thickest but as long as you are not dolphin diving on the pouch your sensitive devices should be fine.

Poor attachment provided
For this kind of money, Raine should provide decent Molle attachment such as Malice clips or at least 1000 denier straps with metal snaps. What comes with the pouch are two flimsy cloth straps that have barbs to prevent them from coming loose. Even after looping them up through the last slit, they don’t seem secure enough to hold the weight of some optics. I may have to cut them off and use better Molle attachment.

Could be better
Used this pouch while out on a training deployment to hold my psv14s, they did a fine job of holding them and protecting them but the molle straps aren't very good, they back themselves out and there was multiple times where the pouch was about to fall off my battle belt.

Doesn’t fit pvs-31a’s very well.
The overall quality of this pouch is good. The stitching, seams, etc. seem to be of pretty good quality. My only gripe is, when I attempt to put my pvs-31a’s (without the mount) in it, it causes the front and back to deform, and the top flap does not close over the opening properly. It just needs to be about 1/2” deeper (front to back), and they would likely fit perfectly. In a pinch it will work as I intend, but it’s not ideal.

Great PVS-14 case for your Kit
The Multicam is legitimate and its made in the USA. The padding is sufficient, but thin. I see it protecting the PVS-14 and it’s J-Arm just fine. I wish here was one more strap for mounting the pouch to molle. It would take away the little bit of wobble it has with only 2 straps.

MOLLE Straps are garbage
The pouch itself is great. Solid construction, decent padding, and perfect size to fit PVS-14 with J-arm attached plus helmet mount. But the MOLLE straps are a thin fabric sheet with small barbs for retention. They are way too flimsy for attaching to kit. Why wouldn’t Raine use sturdy 1 inch Multicam nylon straps and snaps like every other MOLLE pouch on the planet??!!

Fantastic NVG Pouch
Bought this pouch to fit a dual and single tube night vision system. Has more than enough room to facilitate both with the dual tube system folded and with the 2x CR123 batteries. Padding is more than sufficient and the stitching is well done.Don't hesitate purchasing - this is a well built pouch.
