Great for quail coop
Used this for my quail coop because I couldn’t find wire small enough the protect them. Worked perfectly! Still going strong a year later! Amazing for the price.

Deterred rodent activity at house siding edge, where I embedded in dirt, rodents can’t chew.
Rodents kept digging under house. I shoveled down 2 feet, and put concrete down at edge to deter rodents. Stapled top side to aluminum siding. So far, 6 mths later, nothing has been able to get through this wire mesh! I am 69 year old, female, and I was able to cut with $15 cutters, easily, and bend to configuration I needed! Great quality, great weight and durability. So far no rust. Very easy to use, if you call cutting/bending steel cloth easy! Highly recommend to deter rodents!

Good quality, easy to manipulate
I attached this around inside of deck and works perfect to keep toys in & cats from getting out. Works great! Easy to manipulate fencing, easy to trim to size, I used staple gun to attach. It works great & only visible up close.

Heavy duty
Used on ground with small stakes to deter cat from using my flower bed as a litter box. Also used and wrapped around end of gutter to prevent rodents from crawling up gutters. Very sharp but works great.

Keeps baby mice in (or out!)
I bought this to attach to the sides of my fancy mouse tank, because I had several small house mice climb through the bars and hang out with my girls! Everyone was fine and my girls didn't seem to care in the slightest, one of them even was grooming the house mice before I could get them out. I ended up keeping a couple of them and used this hardware cloth to make sure there was no way they could climb through the bars again, and it's been very effective and looks pretty decent in my opinion! I ended up using tin snips and cutting the wires flush against eachother to avoid sharp edges, tucking the sides of the mesh under the lip of the tank where the wire slides under and I zip tied it tightly in place along all the sides. It's secure, looks to be in great condition and I still have a lot left. I appreciated how the bundle was wrapped together when I first unpackaged it but unfortunately I got the stick out of the middle and immediately lost the nice tightly rolled bundle and ended up having to roll it together by hand when I was done with it, but that was my mistake. This was one of the most reasonably priced hardware cloth rolls I could find with good reviews and I'm glad I picked it!

Using 4” wide screen in concrete border
Using screen in a concrete border I’m placing around the house to prevent squirrels from digging holes. 1/4” grid good size. Screen is sturdy but bendable so easy to fold in narrow gaps. Not sure that I needed screen but thought it would lend strength to the barrier

Bends Easily and Sharp
I bought this hardware cloth to keep small critters out, and it definitely works for that. It’s easy to cut and shape, and installation wasn’t difficult. I like that it’s flexible enough to work around different areas, and it does a good job protecting plants and blocking off problem spots. That said, I was disappointed with how easily it bends. It doesn’t feel as sturdy as I hoped, and the edges are really sharp, so I had to be extra careful handling it. Gloves are a must. Overall, it’s effective for the purpose, but because of the flimsy feel and rough edges, I can only give it 3 stars.
