Great cable that works as intended. USB-C may not make the file transfers faster on my iPod but it is much more convenient with current charging blocks and ports on my devices.

I bought this to transfer my mp3s from my old Ipod Classic to my Android s10 tablet. It worked perfectly. This cord WILL transfer data.

I don't understand why there is no offering on female USB C to 30 pin adapter. Alas, this is the closest product I can find to work with my USB C power supply. Be careful when pulling the 30 pin off your iPad or you risk opening up the 30 pin housing. Yes, it is a little flimsy but once you use the 30 pin a few time (break in period), I no longer run into the issue I just mentioned. Overall, the product fills a void and gives my iPad 3 a new lease in life.

For those of us still with antiquated iDevices, this little cable is a nice upgrade. This is for my iPod Classic and the cable for that was, naturally, completely frayed and on its last legs. Saw this cable and thought the update to USB-C would be a nice upgrade. Not sure about any increase in data transfer or anything, but it's nice that all my cable are now USB-C. Much easier now to carry one charger instead of two or three. But the cable works really well and no issues with compatibility or anything. My PC recognized my iPod immediately and data transfer/sync seemed to be a tad faster. That and this cable is much longer than the normal 3ft cable you get with these iPods. This one is about 6ft long or so

Me sorprendió la buena calidad. Pude conectar equipos antiguos sin problemas y la transferencia funciona bien. Útil para rescatar dispositivos viejos. Funciono perfecto en mi iPad 2, lo rescate y ahora lo uso para cargar música y leer libros aunque ya no tenga soporte de apple.
