A most unusual but delicious cheese
The first time I purchased this item, I thought how very small it was, but actually it goes a very long way and tastes absolutely delicious. I kept it in the fridge after opening the package, and it lasted a couple of months (I didn't need to use it in large quantities, or every day). During that time, it didn't attract mould as happens with most other cheeses a few days after opening, so that was what enabled me to keep it for a few weeks. It's a very unusual cheese not only in consistency, but also in flavour, so some people may not like it, but I love it's thick, creamy texture and lovely chocolatey flavour. I now make sure that I always have some in my fridge.

Interesting, unusual and tasty
Very interesting and unique flavor cheese. Almost like a salted caramel butter…more candy-like than cheese-like. Loved it.

Better Late than Never
While having been initially disappointed at the non-delivery of the cheese within the timescale given (it appears that there had been a late delivery of the cheese to the seller) when the cheese eventually arrived it delivered on the most important point of all - taste. It is claimed that you either love or hate this cheese: I love it! The rich, nutty flavour provides a wake-up call to the palate. I eat a few slices for breakfast and the old taste-buds get kicked into action and remain alert throughout the day. Well worth the wait.

Supposed to taste like fudge but not to my taste.
I had such high hopes for this cheese and bought it to enjoy at Christmas after reading someone elsewhere describe it as being like fudge. It certainly looks like fudge but the taste wasnt. It was said to be sweet but I didnt pick up on that either. It was a small block for what was about £15. I wont be buying it again. Many people seem to love it and as a different cheese it is a success as it is certainly different. Just not one that I enjoyed.

An unusal and definitely rather special cheese!
One hundred pro-cent agreement with 'Cairistiona' in awarding this product five stars. This is a specialist cheese which is very expensive in its homeland of Norway. The price/weight is clearly indicated by the seller so I fail to see how the 'Very Expensive in my opinion' tag applied by 'rugger' has any relevance because that's axiomatic! The cheese has a taste reminiscent of fudge but with a much firmer texture. If you have already experienced it then you will know what a treat it is. If you haven't and can stand the expense then it is definitely worth the try. While cheese appreciation is a personal opinion, I consider this to be something special.

My first taste of brown cheese - it’s scrumptious
I heard about the cheese from Sejsejlija on YouTube. I thought it sounded interesting. It’s actually really good. Kind of creamy, smooth, a little sweet, but not too much. Peanut butter, caramel, maybe ? It’s a taste you have to judge for yourself. It’s definitely Moreish...
